After a sub-par year in 2017, we're finally treated to an excellent MCU film. Ryan Coogler really does bring out the best out of Michael B. Jordan and I can't wait to see them work again.

When the sacrifice of a cartoon panda gives me an emotional rollercoaster while the sacrifice of Superman -one of my favorite superheroes- in a movie of the same year fails on so many levels, I feel like.

I'm so happy that Kung Fu Panda 3 provides a shot for that.

Anyway, this is like the Indiana Jones trilogy; a great first, a good somewhat underrated second, and a great third movie that also brings the dad of the protagonist to the picture.

I thought it was a run-of-the-mill MCU entry with poorly done humor.

Oh well, you can't win 'em all.
It's my new favorite in the franchise.

The first movie is more faithful to the book, with some edges trimmed out. I enjoyed the basic idea of a pancake shop more than a stage actress, but the second movie is more enjoyable to me.

A few lines and shots in the second movie were the same as the first movie, and there was just one name used in both versions; Stephen Archer. And the actor for the second movie looks strangely similar to this fella.
