First time since seeing it in the theaters. Generic story and cliché themes and stereotypes camouflaged in colorful visual effects.

An Eye for Beauty

I enjoyed this film for what it was a view of the beauty of life, love, relationships, friendships and the world itself ,and the opposites of beauty death and betrayal. It meanders here and there but i loved the casual feel of it and it's characters,i know some people absolutely hated this film but it appealed to me throughout its hour and 46 minute run time.

JOSIE

Beautiful sweet-talking stranger Josie (Sophie Turner) struts into a small town with a secret to bad it's a lame and predictable secret !! Meandering and dull for the most part i got a couple of unintended laughs from it and Turner looks great but not even worth renting.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIERQuality = 9.5/10
Joy = 10/10

Excellence succeeding a massive bore. Thank you for making such a pleasantly easy movie to watch.
This is not a superhero movie with elements of a political thriller, it is a political spy thriller starring a superhero.

How I rate them as far as joy goes this turn:
  1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 5/5 Shields
  2. Captain America: The First Avenger -- 5/5 Shields
  3. The Incredible Hulk -------------------- 5/5 Gamma smashes
  4. Iron Man 3 ----------------------------- 5/5 Shellheads
  5. The Avengers -------------------------- 5/5 Shawarma
  6. Iron Man 2 ----------------------------- 4.75/5 Shellheads
  7. Iron Man ------------------------------- 4.5/5 Shellheads
  8. Thor ------------------------------------ 4/5 Mjolnirs
  9. Thor: The Dark World------------------ 2.8/5 Mjolnirs

Stan Lee cameos:
  1. Iron Man: Hugh Hefner. in the party Tony danced with Pepper in.
  2. The Incredible Hulk: Gamma blood victim.
  3. Iron Man 2: Larry King. Somewhere after the hearing I think.
  4. Thor: Trucker trying to lift Mjolnir with his pick up truck.
  5. The First Avenger: Admiral in the honoring of Captain Rogers.
  6. The Avengers: Old guy playing chess in the park doubting the existence of superheroes.
  7. Iron Man 3: Some old guy raising the 10 score board at some weird show.
  8. Thor: The Dark World: Patient who wanted his shoe back.
  9. Captain America: The Winter Soldier: Museum curator afraid of getting fired.

This is my first time watching this movie without getting a mild headache. I don't know why I got a mild headache last two times I watched a movie I thoroughly enjoyed since day one.

Winter Soldier is technically the better movie but I get the bigger kick out of Captain America: First Avenger.

It's basically a shlocky, 90's DTV movie. 4/10

Toby Kebbell needs a new agent, and to read scripts before signing on to these projects.
