Mediocre sequel that tries the same slow burn as the original but with less success as there's not enough of Laurie or as strong a central focus, and I guess this was the start of Myers being basically a Terminator. 6/10

One of, if not the best movie I've ever seen in my life. Ford deserved an Oscar for his performance. Tommy Lee Jones is good, but I much prefer Ford's performance. Excellent script, absolutely relentless pacing, extremely well directed. This movie might have the best execution and pacing I've ever seen in a movie. Oh and I forget to mention, this is the definition of how to perfectly direct a thriller. Andrew's directing is so so good.

I'm simply out of words for this masterpiece.

PS: Just found out this didn't get nominated for screenplay and directing at the Oscar 1994. Ignoring the script is explicable ? But ignoring Andrew's fantastic directing ? Was The Academy on drugs or something ?

I did not enjoy it this go around, and it's not as good as I remember. It's hard to choose a favorite character when I couldn't really like any single one of them, and their decision of being friends was rushed.

I still like it, less than the better first movie, but I like it enough to say it's worth keeping to watch again.
I did not notice the foreshadowing of Quicksilver's death before today, there are two moments of that.
Danny Elfman's music here recycled notes from Spider-Man movies.
There are four jokes on the "Language" bit.
