How was it odd?
No, it was pretty much an exact adaptation of the comic.The movie has no mention of Bruce that I can recall at all just odd for me as I am not used to 'just' the Hulk being in a movie.
I don't think the Avengers would ever just ship Hulk off Earth and if they did I would assume they would make sure he couldn't rip apart the ship he was in.
Once it got to the planet it felt too much like 'A Princess of Mars' for my taste.
It feels like only half a story.
I wonder if there is a sequel planned.
