It's nice to see Tim Burton in his comfort zone again, but for some reason it was hard for me to get invested. Yeah, I got a bit misty when Sparky got killed, but there was a moment just after that scene when a couple more people entered the theater and found their seats, and I realized they hadn't really missed much. For the most part it was exactly what I expected from the title, and not much more.

Now with this one, I wasn't expecting much, but this one really surprised me. It was a safe, harmless kids movie, but I got plenty of laughs out of it and it didn't just rely on poop jokes and easy references (although I'm still laughing at the Wolfman explaining why his sense of smell has eroded.)

The best of the three by a mile. By far the most imaginative, it had a powerful story with great characters, and best of all there was real suspense.

Wrong Turn 5
Brake
The Thing (2011)
WTF?? I didn't even know there was a Wrong Turn 3!! :argh:

Quantum of Solace - 7/10

Mortal Kombat Annihilation

It's so bad it's entertaining
Being a fan of MK helps enduring this a little

Cloud Atlas

Not sure how I would rate this, except to say I did like it.

Brute Force

Jim Thorpe All American

Vengeance Valley

Less than 20 minutes of SAW IV

2.5/5

Not as bad as I thought it would be but the ending was incredibly anticlimactic.
