I hope the visual effects are better in the sequel than they were in the first one...they were pretty bad

Hm. I'll list things I did enjoy visually. The crane scene swing sequence, webs, most of the sewer fight, and the school fight was alright. I know a lot of people didn't like the visuals but I gotta hand it to em. I'm sure that stuff is all long hard work.
But anyway- back to Supes :]

Oh I mean the movie had great sequences and scenes but the CGI was crap...they need to step it up. I'm glad Man of Steel looks 10000x better than that

I can't make up my mind. I want to see MOS as soon as possible, but all of the July 13, 10pm screenings, as well as every other screening currently available for which to pre-order tickets right now in my city is in 3d. I'm not a fan of 3d, it tends to give me headaches and like everyone else I want my first viewing of the film to be optimal, should I hold out out hope that they will add 2D screenings later on or should I just say screw it and buy tickets now? There doesn't seem to be much rush. I checked the seating charts for the showings with reserved seats and at most 5 seats have been reserved so far. I just don't want to find out that they are not adding any 2d showings and will have waited for nothing and lost the chance to grab good seats.

Finally got my tickets to Dickson City PA Imax 3D midnight showing. I will dread the 3D but I really can't do my first viewing anywhere else but an Imax.

Usually (or at least sometimes), big movies are released in France 2 days before the US, 'cause our day for new movie releases is wednesday.
