The ultimates are good but they are too government sanctioned. Remember the 616 avengers did have gyrich yelling at them so they were partially controlled by the government.

The ultimates like i said seem too govenment controlled. Its works geeat when america is invaded and you need a team to fight alongside the army but the way they behave if some old lady got knifed outside their hq they would have to call fury first before they could pop outside and help.

Sides i could never accept a captain america who did whatever "the man" says with no hint of self thought or conscience.
