Which Harley Quinn Movie Would You Rather See?

Robbie has stated that she will be filming for a Harley Quinn movie next year but hasn't specified which one.

Margot Robbie's Harley is my favorite thing to come out of the DCEU so far (and I love the DCEU so that's saying a lot). So I'll basically take whatever they give me. I think Suicide Squad 2 is the most likely of the bunch, but I went ahead and voted for Harley & Joker. It's something different and while I wasn't a big fan of Leto's Joker, I'd like to see if they could do anything interesting with a movie just for those two, haven't really seen that before.

I'll go with a Harley & Joker movie because I'd love to see what Robbie & Leto could do with someone that truly understands the characters. Imo, it'd be awesome to get a full on origin film detailing Harley's descent into madness and her subsequent early adventures with Joker against Batman leading up to SS.

I'm literally imagining such a film ending with Harley in her cell and Amanda Waller approaching her. Boom! Fade to black!

In the current situation I think the best option is GCS. I doubt Reeves will bother with the Joker, not to mention Harley, at least not right away. But GCS is directed by Ayer? I'd rather not have it at all and wait for better times and a better director. Optimal variant - Batman movie with proper villains, including Harley.

I never want to see Leto's Joker again so I went with Gotham City Sirens. It's a different concept. I like it.

I want her & Joker included in some way in The Batman, although I don't want them to be the main villian(s) more annoyances. I want Deathstroke as the main antagonist.

“It’s hard to talk about it because this stuff is under lock and key, but I’ve been working on a separate spin-off Harley thing for a while now,” the actress revealed. “It’s a totally separate one. There’s a lot going on right now and honestly I don’t think anyone knows what’s going to be the next thing to happen, but I think everyone is keen to get Harley back on screen, so everyone is working on lots of different versions of what that could be.”

Potentially three spin-off movies in development for one character. This is crazy.

I love Margot Robbie but I'd much prefer her playing another superhero character just so I never have to be reminded that Suicide Squad exists.

I'll go with Joker and Harley since that makes the most sense post Suicide Squad
Then I'll take Suicide Squad 2

and then finally GCS

It's a hell no to Joker and Harley if it's just gonna be 2 hours of the cringe we were subjected to in SS. Now, if Leto were recast and the story was a take on Mad Love without all the horrid over romanticization of their relationship we see in SS and some actual abuse from Joker .... Now, that's a different story.


Ultimately, though , I'm more interested in GCS.

Well Margot isn't a drawing they can paste on multiple papers and publish them. Movie making is much different, there's no way in hell they're prepping for 4 simultaneous Harley projects under different writers and directors. That's crazy and logistically impossible and besides all it'll take is one bomb for Harley mania to end and for them to completely throw the character under the bus knowing WB.

I think SS is a lock for now to be out in 2019 or 2020, then 2 or so years later we might get GCS/HQ/HQ and Joker. They're probably throwing ideas.
I have no desire to see HQ in Reeves Batman and I dont want to see her and Joker together period. GCS is my preferred option but I suspect we'll get HQ and Joker and a solo movie before GCS and that's assuming GCS happens at all.
