A shame too, yes, Incredible Hulk may have had a lot cut out, but over any other super hero movie I believe it planted the seeds for sequels better than any other. So many scenes (Banner's and Stern's evil grins, Stark showing up, Abomination left alive) leave me craving more after every viewing. It keeps making me think "Where are they going with this!?"
Hulk will no doubt get a solo movie again, we all know that, on the same note I truly hope it turns out to be an LL-Norton Hulk again.
It just would have been nice to have a Hulk franchise to look forward to again.
About the bolded part, what makes you so confident?
I was looking forward to a sequel, especially with the super-villain left alive, which doesn't happen often in these movies. Would've been interesting to see how they would've contained Abomination.
I know, I was also hoping we would have gotten to see comic book Abomination in TIH2 also. Maybe the Leader could have injected anphibian DNA into him the make his skin stronger or something and BHAM, you have comic book Abomy.
