The Dark Knight Which of these should be Batman's sidekick in the sequels?

I chose Jason Todd because I think he needs his due other than him being the Robin that Joker killed.

And as for being remembered as the Robin that Joker killed, he's now the Robin that Joker killed, who then came back to life after Superboy Prime punched the walls of the Paradise Universe rewriting continuity and who then proceeded to dress up as practically every character in the Batman universe.

It was a close call. The margin between the kill Jason Todd votes and the let Jason live votes was very slim. I believe it was 72 votes was it? Most fans agree that Batman needs a Robin in the comic book. That is why the margin was so low.

This is the movie, not the comic, they need to incorporate him in a realistic way, if they can do that, I'll be satisfied, bring him without that crappy costume or name, and train him in the cave without the villains, so he'll actually be Bat's apprentice instead of a stupid sidekick. I voted no, but only because of the absurd idea of a grown man fighting super-powered murderers with a teenager in red, green, and yellow armor.

As for who, if they do it right? Dick Grayson is Batman's apprentice

Nolan said he, and WB have no intention of using Robin in this trilogy.

if they give Robin the OYL Tim Drake costume, then I can see it. but it'd have to be either Dick Grayson or Tim Drake. I don't know that much about Jason Todd. the only things i do know about that character is that he was killed by the Joker (then wasn't).

Whoever ends up playing Robin is not nearly old enough today for us to think about casting. He needs to be relativley young when his parents are killed, otherwise you lose the effect. Also, he wont be in the films for quite a number of years. So if Robin ever shows up, whoever's going to play him is probably still in diapers somewhere.

I think Robin should only show up if they are making a Teen Titans movie and they they should put someone who can get that disturbed teen can snap at any time look probably that kid from Sixth Sense.

Not that I have a great deal of faith in decision making when it comes to sidekicks, but if it was up to me I'd introduce Dick Grayson's Robin in movie #3 or #4. He's origin would be the same as it was in comic-continuity; his acrobat Parents murdered by mobster Tony Zucco. Bruce would adopt Dick and train him in the Batcave, with a great deal of the training paralleling the Ra's/Bruce tutlege. Robin would adopt the classic red, yellow and green suit, although those colours would be somewhat darker and yes, he would have the eye mask. My explanation for the eye mask is that, while not concealing the identity of the wearer in the same way Batman's cowl does, it is deliberate since it is a psychological reminder for Dick, who'd be relying on speed far more than Bruce; so goons wouldn't get a good look at Robin anyway because of he's sheer velocity of movement. He wouldn't be as grim as Batman, althoug he wouldn't be cracking jokes like Spider Man either; they'd be a balance there, I'd want Robin to be antagonistic with the way he chides the crooks he's gonna rough up.

In a later movie, if the franchise was alowed to continue further, Dick would eventually shed the Robin persona and take on the Nightwing mantle.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention, Dick Grayson/Robin would be a teenager when he becomes Robin, just like in the comics.
