Sequels Which Story Line Should Spiderman 4-5 Be About

There is no way that combo can work. Lizard fits well into a KLH based story, but Rhino on film is a cameo villain at best (cause he is lame), and where would we fit Toomes? I don't like that idea.

Neither one. For sinister six to work, Doc Ock and Goblin would be required, both of whom are dead and if its a continuity, it will look stupid to bring them back to life. Venom and Carnage could not make for a compelling story arc, which everybody will happily point out. I say take some new villains, like Lizard, Mysterio, and Electro with some Crime Lord and build a story around that. Perhaps something happening on a big scale, and involving SHIELD as well.

Sinister Six would be extremely hard to pull off. They couldn't handle using 2 (3 if you count Harry) in SM3, why bump it up to Six? Especially when Ock is most likely dead at this point.

Kraven's Last Hunt with Lizard would be pretty cool. Seeing Spider-Man play both punisher and protector to Lizard could be nice to see.

I never cared for Vulture. I don't think any of his abilities would really ''Wow'' anyone on screen. The best thing to do with him is pair him up with another villain,because on his own he's pretty lame.

Electro and Scorpion should totally happen. I think Scorpion is a much better foil to Spider-Man than Venom (in the movies,anyway) and with Electro,it would kick ass to see them fighting in the middle of Times Square.

They need to give us the Lizard because they have been teasing us for three movies! Conners becomes the Lizard and is loose in the sewers [the urban myth about alligators, etc.], the Bugle hires Kraven to catch/kill the Lizard and Spidey is stuck in the middle trying to keep Kraven from killing Conners and the Lizard does not care and is trying to kill them both!

Story Elements: Kraven's Last Hunt

Spider-Man 4 really needs at least one villain who isn't flashy, and tailored made for CGI, that's where Kraven The Hunter comes in. And of course, having a villain who is visually flashy and dangerous, is where The Lizard comes in. By taking story elements from Kraven's Last Stand, the writer can write the film in a mature manner, something the Spider-Man films desperately needs. I would love to see a scene where Kraven commits suicide, Spider-Man being buried alive, etc. A film about hunting and killing, protecting and being protected could be very dramatic on screen. This film's motif should have an animalistic nature about it. Thus, is why The Lizard and Kraven would work great in one movie, and play off of each other's story in a dramatic way.

at least 3 or 4 of them would get no development.

Lizard is a good idea, and Kraven seems to be a natural choice I agree but in a movie it won't look good.

I have to disagree with oyu there, Kraven has alot of potential and it's been expressed in alot of stories such as Kraven's Last Hunt. So, I think he is great to be in a Spidey film and him being in the same film with the Lizard is golden if you ask me.

Well, mostly because fans would want him to be in there and to stay true to the classic story, although its not a problem with me who gets to be the leader or who's in it.

Like I posted in another thread, Peter is completely terrified with Kraven. Just go read the "Beware The Rage Of A Desperate Man" arc in issues 46-49 of Spider-Man to see what I'm talking about.

Well you may be right. But the guy has never appealed to me. Although it may work in comics or cartoons, but for a Tarzan look alike roaming the sewers or city streets for a Lizard just wouldn't do in a movie imo. The guy as far as I have understood him lives for the hunt and would not be much of a compelling villain to carry movie for 2 hrs. As far as I'm concerned he's on par with Venom who too will have trouble carrying a movie for more than an hr. Honestly I didn't even like him in TAS nor Spider-Man 2003 animated mini-series.


Personally, I would want to see something on par with Civil War in future Marvel releases. Let something too devastating happen for the movie to require two more sequels to finish the story. I want an epic sort of story that would really affect Spidey at all levels. That's just me though.
