Sequels Which Story Line Should Spiderman 4-5 Be About

I’d love to see a storyline with Kraven hunting Lizard. Dr. Connors gets the idea to use reptile DNA to reproduce his arm and becomes Lizard, and after Spider-Man fights Lizard and can’t beat him, Kraven comes to New York. A beef starts between Kraven and Spider-Man when Lizard becomes Kraven’s prey, then the battle begins to stop Kraven from killing Lizard and Lizard from harming others.

Well, mostly because fans would want him to be in there and to stay true to the classic story, although its not a problem with me who gets to be the leader or who's in it.

Well Green Goblin was never apart of the Sinister Six so.....

Well even so, I still stand by that SS will be hard to pull off and that Kraven won't be interesting for a movie. I mean we had Goblin and Ock who posed as a major threat to the city, they were big, then in Spidey 3 that degree of threat was toned down and it'll be the same with Kraven story.

Lizard is easily a city-wide threat. WORLDwide, even (Exiles fans will know what im referring to )...that's another reason why Kraven and Lizard should be paired up in a movie.

I totally agree with the Lizard being in there, we have all been waiting for Connors to show his alter ego. They could even take some sort of a horror direction towards the movie with Lizard, but I guess that won't do .

Well we could still assume Sandman is still desperate for money because he never really said that "I would stop looting banks now" which was something left inconclusive in SM-3. The gatherer of the six could offer him money in exchange for his services. But what about Ock, he's dead. Even if he was to come back, which wouldn't be preferable because of how he died, why would he be evil or try to stop Spider-Man. He learned his lesson and died saving the city, he died a good guy.

Which really made me mad about sandman. he's a foe spidey couldn't beat.

unless they put his daughter in peril there is no way to write him back into the story and make it work. So it's safe to assume they'll leave him alone to rob banks and what not like Spidey did. lol.

Sandman would have a hard time believing Spidey kidnapped his daughter. But as I said, he could use Sandman's desperation as means of acquiring his help. Although it is possible that if some by extraordinary means Ock did survive, he might still have the desire to carry out his dream work but that wouldn't seem all too believable because the guy knowingly risked his life in the end and would certainly know the consequences of doing it all over again.

So its somewhat in the same proximity as Harry's story in SM-3. He's mind a swiss-cheese and the gatherer uses this to misdirect him. That could make for an interesting emotional conflict but than again, it's not a very imaginative way to give someone a purpose.

i hope in the next trilogy the take mary jane out of the 4th...have her away in cali persuing her acting career...her and peter are still friends but nothing more. during the movie he makes up with gwen and they even begin to date regularly. peter is dr. connors lab assistant, they are studying south american lizards and there dna for some reason. connors gets the idea to use the lizards DNA to reproduce his arm. he becomes "the lizard". during the movie, lizard kills captain stacy...gwen (who witnessed the whole thing) blames spidey, now gwen hates spider-man and loves peter. quite a perdicament. spiderman chases connors into the sewers where an epic battle insues, lizard (injured) escapes...then in the 5th film, lizard comes back...and you introduce the hobgoblin as the 2nd tier villian (common thief breaks into the abandoned osborn mansion and finds the equipment). peter creates an antidote and gives it to connors, he becomes human again. then at the climax of the film the hobgoblin throws gwen off of the bridge in a scene that is eerily similar to MJ in sm1. but hobgoblin prevents spidey from saving her. MJ, who was coming home to suprise peter, was on the bidge witnessing the whole thing. qwens death drives peter crazy (no tears!!! just fury!) and peter chases hobgoblin...the fight, and peter accidentely kills him (its done in a way that leaves people wondering just how "accidental" it was). MJ is there to comfort him after gwens death, but he pushes her away. then in the 6th movie you have MJ trying to get peter back (and NOT the other way around)

3 movies without ANY peter chasing MJ subplot, and yet her presence in the films is just as strong as it was in the first trilogy.

hhmm..well to each his own i suppose...i was working on a script awhile back that had hobgoblin, and also introduced felicia (only as felicia in the 4th and then as black cat in the 5th)...eventually tying them both to kingpin.

i personally would love to see peter become an item with qwen, only to have her killed exactly like in the comics (except with a different goblin)...althoguh i can see where some people would be tired of seeing the goblin characters (which is why i put him in the 5th, to give people a break from them)

i am in complete agreance on that point...he should in every way be secondary to lizard....except that he is reponsible for killing gwen.

i would love to see kraven as well...but i think that lizard deserves at least one movie by himself as the villian....perhaps in the 5th peter develops the patch to keep connors from changing...but in the 6th something happens to change him back, enter kraven the hunter....and perhaps another villian like chameleon or black cat

The Lizard has to be the next villain. And being that there are TWO villains in SM4. i think it SHOULD be lizard and some other secondary villian other than kraven....give kraven some character development without actually adding him as a villian. connors has waited too long to become lizard to have the hunter introduced right off of the bat...wait until the 5th/6th film.
