If I had to guess I'd say he wasn't really aware of the ages.

I am aware of their ages. I was hesitate to put Grace in.

I wouldn't want to cast someone over 30. But there's hardly any talent lower than 30.

My top choice would be Johansson. But she is BW already.

Agreed. I think Robbie-as-Quinn might be the first major post-Nolan DC casting that made me go, "now that's just objectively perfect." Basically the same reaction I had when Marvel announced Downey, all three Chrises and D'Onofrio.

Rumor is that's actually Marvel's audition list. I can't buy #5 as an experienced fighter pilot though. Hair color is all wrong too. If only humanity could apply our knowledge of science towards inventing a product that could fix that somehow, like change the color...? Science fiction stuff, I know. I'm a dreamer!

You should watch Edge of Tomorrow when you get the chance. She was pretty badass in it.

I still think she would've made a better Black Widow than ScarJo. If she is Carol, I would find it sad to see someone who, every time I look at her next to Scarlett, will remind me of what could've been. She really would've brought Natasha to another level. She also has a more Russian look than ScarJo.

Good lord this post is pretentious, as was your previous one. You are not capable of reading the others poster's minds and determining their motivation for why they want certain women cast. You have no way of knowing how much "though they put into it". Even if they are motivated by looks that's fine as everyone does this. I think you're being dishonest if you say attraction isn't playing some part in your choices as well. The fact their choices are different from yours does not make them less intelligent.

Of course looks play a part in a lot of people's casting suggestions but come on man. Put some actual real world thought into it as I try and do. Why would you cast some early twenties actor as a character who obviously based on her background isn't going to be 24 year old woman unless you just rewrite her story all together.

I'm not being pretentious I'm trying to be more realistic. It's also a bias against woman. No problem with RDJ or Ruffalo who are in their 40's or Paul Rudd and Paul Bettany who are also over forty and getting cast as newly added characters but a woman who is in her mid 30's is now too old where Marvel should cast actresses like Margot Robbie or Heard, who both are like 25? All i've read is: OMG if they cast Theron she'd be too old to do sequels, oh no Theron looks worn sometimes, Really? I'm not saying this is how you feel cause I've not read all your posts but I don't want an actress cast based off youth and ageism.
