Once any of the other villains starts dueling the devil, I might consider them as worthy opponents. Till then :doom: rules supreme.

How about taking on a being twice as powerful as Galactus? Would that count?

wilson fisk should be respected more than this
 . How are we disrespecting Fisk, we just actually understand the character, you don't even know his history. You're showing him disrespect by posting misinformation about him.

BTW Kingpin is not a Spider-Man villian, he was once however his home for the last 20 years has been in DareDevil, where he is a much better fit.

Even though jplaya has NO idea who Doom is...

yet another poll confirming Victor's superiority.

green goblin bwahaaaaa he wasnt even spidey's greatest villian that goes to venom but green goblin was a nice foil for spidey though so he one of the top 5 greatest spidey villians

 W.T.F

ok JPlaya, as I actually followed that show back when it first aired, I'll point out exactly why that statement is bulls**t.

Venom's 1st app: He beat Rhino and Shocker, pump some irons, helps Aunt May to freak Peter out. Chase Spidey to space launch. rumbles gets the symbiote off which spidey webs to the ship, the end.

2nd app: had to be brought back by dormammu  (W.T.F!!!) 'nuff said!

Green Goblin's 1st app: He kidnaps Fisk in about 30 seconds with so little trouble that it's amazing the Kingpin managed to survive until the end of the show.

And by the way, since that show was meant for kids, the Kingpin never raped anyone dumb***. The show actually made the villains (even the great ones) look like losers. Like the Goblin actually had to use a device that mimicked The Spot's powers ( THE SPOT??? for f**K's sake!!!) to learn Spidey's I.D. The same device that was used to make M.J disapear in mid-air in the classic bridge scene followed by Osborn sucked into the portal when the glider hits him.

I think it's safe to assume that I speak for every fan of these characters when I say that whoever wrote the scripts for that show should be shot!

JPlaya, for your own good I think you should hunt down the "stupid questions" thread on these board. It's actually a thread full of answers for noobs, without the risk of being insulted and ridiculed by everyone on the boards. So my advice is to go find out what you need to know and then do whatever you want.

B.T.W, I sincerely want to thank you because I was actually feeling blue before logging on. But after reading your comments, I laughed so hard I think I woke the neighbors. :D So some good comes out of it after all!

Adding to Grim Goblin's comments: As much as I love Venom, he still has quite a while to go before he can reach Green Goblin status as a villian. The Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) has been around since The Amazing Spider-Man number 14 and has been pretty much the most diabolical villain Spidey has yet to face. The Goblin knew about Spidey's secret identity long before Venom came around. Most of Spidey's villains are criminals who are out for their own personal gain, but the Goblin has all he needs he is apparently only around to destroy Spidey. I think most of his enemies he casually dislikes and if they changed their ways might even become his allies but I think that no matter what the Goblin did, Spidey would never trust him and always hate him. The Goblin is the master of the head games and I haven't seen a villain yet that caused Peter so much trouble and probably ulcers too. I'll give Doc Ock a second place finish as far as Spidey villains go. The fact that these two were chosen to be Peter's foes in the movies should be proof of how great they were. :venom:

My top 3 list for Spider-Man villians would be
1) Green Goblin
2) (Who actually kinda ties with) Doc Ock
3) Hobgoblin

Venom would be in the top ten, However I am not sure he even makes the top five to be honest with you

Just for being the evil son of a b**** that he is, I always liked Sabretooth as well. He was mean just for the sake of being mean. He was like that bully from school but only 1000X worse.

oh u mean this DOOM MUAHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA :)

Even though I think Punisher is underestimated, he could never do that to Doom.

Your an idiot... that story isnt even cannon. Thats from Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe. If your saying he did, then that means he also killed spiderman, venom, captain america, hulk, all the x teams and x villains, etc. Even Punisher said that Doom wouldve and almost did break him in 2.

"Am I not Thanos! Did I not butcher the woman who gave me birth, who force-fed me into this hell called life. Is not the wake of my passing crimson with the blood of my enemies and allies alike?! Death is with me every second of the day! My every moment is spent in either dealing out death or worshipping it! So tell me, who under the stars is better suited than I to be Death's consort?"

I love Thanos, hes probably my second favorite villain next to Doom. Hes done so much damage to the Marvel Universe...

I would have to rank among the top 5 villains as well. Not only has he been around for many years he's faced many different heros and not one of them ever overestimated him. He gets respect from heros and villains alike. The ruler of Latveria deserves the respect that he's earned. :venom:

Although.. Darkseid aught to be on that list. Darkseid, is, of course, perhaps Jaack Kirby's greatest creation (as a writer). His lack of patience is unfathomable, his temper is legend. e's my kinda guy, really.

i give it to Ultimate Loki. he's already impressed me more than Doom ever has. and Doom not only dueled with the devil; he also became some lesser demon's b*tch in the Unthinkable story arc.

2 powerful demons to be exact. And sure, forget the part when they say to Doom "whimper for our master mephisto", and Doom replies "Correction, temporary master". If he stayed in Hell any longer , he woulda overthrowm mephisto and become ruler. Reed even knew this and said so when he brought him back from hell to that eternal prison he made for the both of them.

but he did so whats the excuse now?
Its a what if...it would be like if I wrote a "What if the Red Sox lost the world series in 2004" and then used it to justify their performance this season. Well in this parrallel universe where things are rigged to happen a certain way, the red sox did lose therefore their performance this year is expected.

It makes no sense

He's just a moron what do you expect, he has no comic knowledge whatsoever. He gets his shyte from kiddie cartoons.

to me darkside is someone like a thanos. Big powerful and strong but really doesnt hold any weight like the other a list villians
