Based on what we have seen, heard, and read so far who do you think is the main villain?

From the beginning I've always thought that the symbiote was the main villain. When it was announced that Sandman was Uncle Ben's true killer I was thrown off. Yet, as I think about it more I think symbiote is indeed the main villain in the story.

Why? Well, let's start with Sandman. Capt. Stacy informed Peter and Aunt May that Flint Marko is the real killer. Yet, what proof does he have? Does he have evidence that will hold up in a court of law? Did Marko confess to the crime? We don't know. As a result there is still the chance that towards the end of the film it will be revealed that there was a mistake and Flint didn't actually kill Uncle Ben. Now, let's look at Harry. He can't be considered a villain per say. He's just a misguided young man. The same can be said about Eddie Brock. So, that leaves us with the symbiote. The symbiote turns Peter Parker into a bad guy. Then, it bonds with Eddie and becomes Venom!

Sandman is the main villain. He will have the most screen time and will have the most action, and I think give Peter the most trouble.

I believe, while Sandman will likely be the villian who fights the most and such, I genuinely believe the Symbiote will be the overarching antagonist of the whole film, which culminates its entire self in Venom.

A lot of people say Sandman's the main villain, but I think it's the symbiote, who also turns Eddie Brock into Spider-Man's most feared villain...well, 1.) If the symbiote wasn't featured in the movie, then it'll just be about Sandman and The New Goblin...now Sandman's story is connected with Uncle Ben, but then again, that's not the real reason that pushes everyone into a final battle at the end. And 2.) Venom will have a huge push during the construction site and will be the powerful foe in the fight, with Sandman in the number two spot. And also the symbiote turns Peter into an evil Pete, which turns the events from the last movie, where he and MJ get together, to where Pete does what he wants and lets everyone else get hurt...so to me, it's the symbiote that's the main villain, it drives everything in the movie to it's final climax.

I personally think that Harry is going to survive all the way to the end and team up with Peter to take on Venom and Sandman. The reason I think this is because if you go back to the newest trailer to the part where it shows Peter talking to someone off screen saying that he needs their help to stop it. If you look behind Pete it looks like Harry's balcony from part two.
