Homecoming Who should be the Villain in Spider-Man (2017)? - Part 4

Lets make a G rated Deadpool sequel. Oh wait, that's a terrible idea too? Cool, lets not do that either.

Spider-Man should never be rated R, period. It's not the character, nor the MCU.

I do think, though, that IW is the best way to organically introduce the symboite!

I'd love to see a proper Venom on film hopefully in Spidey's standalone movies. The symbiote could be introduced in Infinity War as a tease, a cameo. Then we could see it show up in the sequel to the new Spidey film.

I seriously wouldn't mind seeing Hyno Hustler in a Batroc size role.

I would like that, just a fun cold open with Hypno Hustler, heck it kinda makes sense that his Spidey with him being so young and just starting that his first villains could be kinda lame.
Now i wonder, who do you get to play Hypno Hustler? I mean if you are going with looks, you could easily just get Bruno Mars :oldrazz:

Yeah...I think Mars name is a fan favorite to play HH, should the character ever make an appearance.

I mean he already kinda looks like a real life Hypno Hustler:

Mars could quite possibly pull it off. It would be interesting....

I would also be open to a Spider-Slayers storyline. It would tie in why Tony Stark would be needed; to help with the tech aspect of defeating/understanding them.

Pass on the spider-slayers, give me Mysterio with Norman behind the curtains.

Mysterio as the villain for Homecoming would make sense but then how would that tie in with Stark? Now that is the thing

Yeah you are right about that but then again Stark is showing up in Spidey's movie whether we all like it or not so it is going to have to tie in considering the events of Civil War and what not

But how, as far as i know, they can't exactly go ''The Sokovia Accords say you have to reveal your identity and work for the goverment''
The Sokovia Accords only applied to the Avengers as far as i can remember.

Yes and Spider Man technically isn't an Avenger but at the same time he was fighting alongside them now wasn't he? Well he was fighting on Team Iron Man essentially fighting for the government wasn't he not? So The Sokovia Accords basically if Spidey signed it then yeah his identity would be public knowledge to everyone all over the world which basically means Aunt May would figure out her nephew Peter is really Spider-Man and Mary Jane would find out too as well as everyone else at his high school along with all of Spidey's enemies

But here is the thing, we DON'T KNOW if Spidey ever came close to having signed the Sokovia Accords, as far as we know, Peter was taken with Stark to make his new costume and then directly to Germany for the Airport Fight.
Then again, by when Tony was in Germany, 24 hours had already taken in place, 24 hour we didn't exactly saw.

So Spidey if he signed the Accords everyone would know who Spider Man really is everyone from Aunt May to Mary Jane but if he didn't sign it then wouldn't the government well see that as Spidey essentially aligning himself against the Sovokia Accords

You gotta remember this is Spideys, first MCU solo outing. They have to make sure the villain hits big with a bang. And it has to be a villain that hasn't appeared on screen before. Someone that can captivate the audience.

There's a reason Iron Man is in homecoming. To maximize Box Office and Critical Projections. So we can't afford them screwing up with an unknow the The Big Wheel, Spider-Slayers, or Spot just yet. Maybe after the first film but for the first film I recommend highly Kraven and Mysterio are the way to go.

No joke tier villains like The Spot or Hypno Hustler to ever appear in these films, thank you!

I wouldn't rank Smythe with Spider Slayers as joke tier though, I'd actually be fine with that if it ties in Scorpion somehow. Though there are definitely better picks out there that deserve the spot light far more.

Anyways, given that Tony Stark will be in this film, they will need to explain Tony suiting up or him not suiting up. Because it would be pretty bad if he's just there to talk tech with Peter without explaining why he doesn't help him out in battle. If it's because of the Sokovia Accords, that would be fine as long as it's clear that's why.

Which is why Kraven, Mysterio or Green Goblin have to be the villain for Homecoming or even Vulture

Hoping part of the reason that RDJ is in the film is to set up Norman as a rival to Tony.

Norman and Tony as rivals makes sense considering Stark Industries and Oscorp would be business competitors but also both in terms of financial and scientific genius I mean it makes sense for these 2 to cross paths almost
