There will be no symbiotes in Spider-Man movies while Sony planning to do Venom spin off. That makes me happy.

This makes no sense. At all. I'm not exactly excited for this. Like with Batman/Catwoman if you're not going to have it connected to its origins at all what's the point?

Feige confirmed they're looking at villains they haven't used before so you're good I'd put money on it being Vulture or Mysterio.

I hope we get mysterio vulture is lame and I would like to see kraven but it sounds like he would need to be build up to more from what people have been saying. Venom and carnegy I would like to see but that wouldn't work for a first movie and out side that just about ever good villain as already been used. So really mysterio is like the only good choice left or maybe hydro man.

Too soon for Lizard in the next few years. If we keep getting the same villains all the time, the general audience will soon think Spidey has a limited rogues gallery.

I still wanna see the Green Goblin and Doc Ock done right, but I would only bring in Norman and Otto for now. I'd like for them to build up to the Goblin.

I don't really know though, I'd like to see Mysterio but I'm not sure he can carry a film on his own. I was really loving the idea of Mysterio for TASM3 after Gwen's death, I really wanted to see fishbowl head mess with Peter's head. Since thats not gonna happen now I kinda feel we should save him for later.

Kraven would be cool, but I feel he'll only work on film with a seasoned Spidey, which also would've been great for TASM3.

Goblin and Ock would be amazing to see buid up for a bombastic finale, i'm not going to deny that.
Mysterio i would love to see for the first movie, Kraven would be perfect for the third, making him into Spidey's Bane (in the sence of Knightfall and not TDKR)
And actually i am the only one who is pushing Spot, i think.

The Chameleon. That would be great to see, imagine a Hitman type scene with Chameleon changing his faces to infiltrate Stark, Oscorp or heck Fisk!

Mysterio is still my number one choice. Then Kraven for the second movie. However, that's not to say that he shouldn't have other minor villains like Shocker or Scorpion or even Rhino again.

Stephen Lang as an older, veteran criminal, former Marine, Herman Schultz, AKA Shocker.

Schultz and a team are hired to recover some tech from Oscorp (secretly by Norman Osborn, revealed at the end). Osborn lurks in he background of the story in a puppet master type role, not Goblin until the third or fourth movie.

Sequel would set up the symbiote, Oscorp scientist using discovered alien biology to discover a cure for cancer. The original symbiote is the one that eventually connects with Eddie Brock and becomes Venom. The one experimented one alters into the symbiote that eventually attaches to the only surviving test subject, Cletus Kasady, Carnage.

So SM1, Shocker with Norman Osborn pulling strings
SM2, Venom and Carnage
SM3, Green Goblin (a real one, a good one)
