Hmmm, my idea for a Spider-man film would involve the Lizard and Kraven the Hunter. The basic character constellation and plot would go like this:
The “main” villain, so to speak, would be Dr Connors who's mutated into the Lizard by accident and looses control of his Lizard persona. His mutation would progresses more and more throughout the movie, turning him more feral and into a predator that stalks New York, killing and eating people. Spidey tries to capture him to turn him back into Doc Connors and back to his wife and son but he's outmatched by the Lizard, who's strength and ferociousness as well as the Lizards cunning prove to be quite a roadblock to that plan.
As the Lizard's body count rises, the New York government calls in experts to take care of the threat. One of them is a famous big game hunter who vows to take down the "Manhattan Man eater". This is of course Kraven. He's would be a very prideful man with a strict code of honor, more of an anti-hero type of character than an outright villain, and he swears to take the Lizards head as a trophy and he's never failed to catch his prey or make good of his promises, a fact he's endlessly proud of.
Spidey is now caught smack-dap in the middle of a conflict between New York’s Finest, the National Guard and Kraven and his cronies on one side and a ferocious, cunning, man-eating beast on the other. He tries to save Doc Connors from Kraven and his henchmen, while also trying to protect everyone else from the Lizard. All the while, trying not to get himself killed by Connors or to be taken out by the Police or Kraven.
In the end, Spidey would manage to save Connors and de-mutate him, reuniting him with his wife and son, while Kraven would be publicly humiliated and “traumatized” which makes him hold a deep grudge against Spidey and would lead into a "Kraven's last Hunt" type of scenario for a future movie.
