Who should draw the opening credits?

itll be cool to see drawings of spidey fighting ock just like the pictures of spidey fighting GG in the beginning of SM2

Except there was no pics of Spidey fighting the Goblin. The only pic of Dafoe was his grinning face one.

I can't say I blame Ross for not wanting to draw that hideous Goblin costume. But Ock would be a delight to see in drawings. And I hope they do it for the credits again.

Fixed the title for you, DA.

Also, I'd like to see the drawings again, they might as well make it a constant thing. As for who? *shrugs*

I'm speculating that the titles will be darker to reflect the creepier tones of this movie- I would personally like to see more art in the vein of Ross' work on II. There are a lot of old pros and new talent who have worked on Spidey in the past I wouldn't mind seeing on the big screen-

-Gabrielle Dell'otto
-Frank Cho
-Art Adams
-John Romita Jr.

the most logical choice probably won't happen -Todd McFarlane- because he's the TODD.

I'd love it if Ditko stepped out of seclusion and got involved.

maybe a comic-book style recapitulation by Mark Bagley....

John Romita Jr.
For his work on Spider-man, specifically his influence on SPIDER-MAN 2. This would be a recap of SPIDER-MAN 2, and I'd love to see him recreate this drawing.

OR-

Todd Mcfarlane for his work with the symbiote and Venom in the comics.

It would be a major mistake to choose anybody other than alex ross.

He didn't like SM2 and really I don't blame him I didn't like it either. Also Luke Ross should drew he is fastastic.

"New and different." What?

I know that the opening drawings were A HUGE HIT with fans and non-fans and got them into the movie immeadietly. Why not do it again? If differently I think a different and perhaps more comic booky artist would work. That is why I support either the Romitas or Bagle ydoing it. That would be interesting and make the second one's more comic book-like aspects stand out and pump the audience up while not just redoing the photo-realistic drawings of Ross then.

I don't think he said **** cause then someone would tell us what the hell he said

Hypsters. We should submit fan art and they pick which ones to use.

The first one had CGI intro. The second had a painted recap of the first film (even though Alex Ross has specifically said that he'd never paint something that had a real world counterpart). A drawn one in full comicbook style would be enough of a departure from the paintings of the second film.

John Romita is the ideal choice since Steve Ditko would never do it (although a Ditko-drawn opening sequence would be so awesome it would defy description). After then, I would have to go with his son.

Tim Sale would be interesting, but it probably wouldn't fly.

And thank God that Todd McFarlane would never do it.

Not sure what that means. The Spider-man movie isn't exactly the real world. He also drew a painting of George Bush sucking the blood out of the statue of liberty. It's a politically abstract image, but he still drew a counterpart of something that exists in real life.

He also talks about how he'd draw Timothy Dalton for Tony Stark in Marvels.

Also, why do they have to do drawings at all?

Get Tobey to draw them and let him earn his money since he is earning more and more and spending less and less time in the spidey suit - either that or Rolf Harris. JK lol.

'Spidey no more' should be done by the guy who did it originally, what's his face . . . can't remember but I doubt it will but I don't think Ross will do it even if he wanted to after what i've just found out he said about the second one - little f***er int he

I'd rather have photographs of Spidey fighting random villains like Vulture and Shocker, to show how much time has past.

This Is What Ross Said About Spider-Man 2!!!

He didn't like it, and thought that it was slow-moving and stupid. He was baffled that everybody around seemed to enjoy it so much.
