I see absolutely no reason for his suicide in this movie. But as for seeing him on the big screen, I am all for it. Lizard and Kraven all the way.

I think Kraven would be an awsome idea for the next SpiderMan movie if it's done right and strictly based upon the comics; I think we should have a SpiderMan 3 remake first, but still has enough potential to be in the movies. With that said, I think it would be cool if, first, Kraven was an African hunter commin' into the city hunting down the Lizard, or even possibly Spider Man, but Man-Spider. I've also been debating about other villians like Scorpion to get more of J.J.'s character back or even like a brief beggining cameo of the Shocker robbing a bank or something. I dunno though, we're gonna have to get a better director or something to get things started though.

Kraven is a bad idea to bring in a real life Spidey film. that's pretty much like having Spidey vs Rambo, spidey would kick his ass in a heart beat

I thought Kraven was strong, agile, and combative. He also uses various weaponry. He can be a threat.

Kraven is a very logical choice to match up with the Lizard. He comes to New York to kill this rumored Lizard. Spidey needs to protect the Lizard because he knows its Curt, and comes to blows with Kraven. It would include some great fight scenes involving all three in a free-for-all. Then after facing Spider-man, the Hunter decides that Spider-man is the truly worthy opponent and begins his hunt on the spider.

It could be done very, very well...

Well if they do decide to put both Kraven and The Lizard in SM4 they will most likely have Kraven hunting the Lizard. But didn't they do this storyline in the SM3 videogame?

Spidey doesn't have a kill or be killed attitude like Kraven. Kraven has a cunning animal instinct, it would be a dog fight. Spidey having a bit more superhuman strength isn't going to matter much, if one is willing to kill and the other isn't. Kraven usually studies all about his prey first before he takes them on, so he'll most likely know Spidey's boundaries. Plus, Kraven always has some kind of tribal weapons at his disposal.

Both really good choices for Kraven (I prefer Day-Lewis first and Butler 2nd), but the character would have to written extremely well to attract Daniel Day Lewis. I think they'd have a better chance at getting Gerard Butler.

How would spidey make moves on him? Do you know anything about this character? Strength is not at issue here. Kraven would serve as nothing more than a complimentary villain. No one here is endorsing him for the main villain. He adds an element to the plot that Spidey would have to deal with. It could work quite well if well written. You can still get all the eye candy big battles that we all crave for with the like of visual villains like Lizard, Electro, etc. I can understand not liking him for whatever reason or not finding him interesting. But its ultimately the story that makes the movie great.

I never really cared for Kraven. Anytime he showed up in the cartoons I was bored.

But thats my honest opinion

it seems that people keep coming back to the issue of Kraven being to weak to take on spidey (as a normal humane)
but, then seem to think any powers or ability given to Kraven would too corny

So, I was wondering, is there a way to give him abilities with out being corny, that fans and the geranial audience could accept

In one storyline I was starting to play around in my mind, (had plans of maybe writing it as a fan script or make it in to a comic panel style story board, or something, once I had it all worked out)

Anyway, in what I had worked out, so, far, I did give Kraven powers to a degree, that ties in with the lizard story

In it he gets his abilities from the same formula that Connor uses
(only instead of it being mixed with lizard DNA, it gets mixed with lion DNA, but, only small trace amounts that got in to his system through, his open cuts, after a lion attack, that nearly killed)

Do to the small amount, that was not directly mix wit the formula, it only slightly enhances his strength levels, and gives him some primal instincts,...., which help him recover quickly from the attack
(yes, I know, his is alot like what they did in the TAS)

though, it never turns in to a full transformation (like with the lizard), his abilities are still developing, and growing throughout the movie

okay, Without the full story that may sound kinda odd and leaves a lot of questions

But, does the idea of him having powers, and graining them in that way, sound like it might work, or would you find that kinda corny

Since every Spidey film has been about teaching Peter some kind of lesson, maybe the moral of this story could be loyalty. Dr Connors becomes the Lizard and goes on a rampage, Spidey tries to stop him and fails. Kraven comes to hunt the Lizard, promising to kill the menace. Peter is tempted to let him, not knowing that the Lizard is Connors. After he find out, maybe after talking with Martha, he has to decide if he should save Connors from Kraven.

I think there were several stories of Kraven fighting other Spidey villains, so its not so out of character. I know he took on the second Vulture (Blackie Drago) and maybe the Man-Wolf.
