Regarding this new wave of heroes that is about to take the reigns of the MCU.
Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange... I don't really have a massive connection or affinity with any of them... There's definitely stuff i appreciate though. It's still early stages for Captain Marvel, but the others have been in 2/3 movies each.
Captain Marvel - Have only seen the trailers. Not impressed with the teaser while the second trailer was a bit better. Started to get into the character with the footage that came after which featured a much more defined personality. Right now she seems to be Cap's natural replacement, with some of Iron Man traits and Thor's power.
Black Panther - Loved what i saw of the character in Civil War but was disappointed with him in his own movie. Civil War showed a much more bad ass, grounded version of the character with an amazing suit that looked and felt real. Black Panther was a good movie with amazing world building... but for me it felt like a step down for the character himself. The suit, the cgi, the fighting choreography... it all didn't help.
Spider-Man - It seriously felt to me like "Not another Spider-Man", but then when i saw Homecoming i really enjoyed it and in Infinity War i couldn't help to smile every time i saw him hanging around. Tom Holland nailed the part. In the end of the day i am not a big Spider-Man fan so i won't be too interested in his movies but i'll check them out.
Doctor Strange - I liked his first movie. And some of the stuff in IW really blow me away. The character has the potential to deliver some insane stuff in a future movie.
