Who's the most pathetic and useless Marvel character ever?

^Good points, but I have always seen him more than someone who can "hold his own in a fight." Logan wont stop. Period. Now in the long run will it matter that he heals more quickly now? I don't know, its easier on the writers (which is lazy writing) but gives the character/book more shock value (money). I just have decided that even though they are trying to screw up a great character, I am not just going to turn away and forget about the character.

The point about never stopping is all the more powerful if his life is at risk however. Never stopping when you can't be killed doesn't take guts, it's just a natural thing to do since no-one can stop you. Going all out and never stopping take balls the size of planets if you're in a fight where you could be killed at any moment. So essentially they've taken away some of the heart the character used to have

Essentially he used to be the guy who would fight no matter what the odds of him winning were. These days however, the odds are always stacked in his favour.

I liked the idea of wolverine as an underdog who still fought to the bitter end, not an unstoppable killing machine

Every other person in marvel at worse was either Pathetic or Useless but not both.

Split the thread and I have at least ten who are useless and twenty who are pathetic.


And Big props to all of you who defended ol' Bush tail. Slott did her right,.. caught the essence of the character and ran with it,... Making me a fan of his for life.

He only qualifies as "Pathetic" in my book because of his gear,.. The Rocket Racer has him beat hands down,... WITHOUT his current upgrade.

With the Upgrade,.. the racer has become a legit threat on the minor scale of Spiderman,.. who gave him a "mercy" win to get him going.
