Exactly. I wanna see a good fight between them. But I hope it will fit to the fact that Thor mopped the floor with the frost giants in his movie. So he should not need too long to bring them down.

Anyway, it doesn't matter who he fight's, Thor should win at the end.

I second this. :D

True and I don't think their blows should affect him tha much, he should shrug them off for the most part.

He also mopped the floor with The Destroyer in his film, which is MUCH more powerful than The Frost Giants.

I gotta say, I wished the Destroyer fight had been about 5 mins longer, but at the expense of losing time on Asgard I would keep it as is. Also, Thor looks the best so far in the marketing material being released.

I mean that he looks the best in the most recent marketing materials/ ie standees etc. To me he is about the only character that looks correct in the marketing.

I wanna see Thor mess some people up
but I also wanna see him struggle, at least a little
I loved the movie, but he did handle the Destroyer and Loki a little too easily when powered up

My biggest gripe about Thor was that the Destroyer wasn't tougher all around.
Sif should have bounced right off him thrusting her Spear/Sword through him like that it's blast should have placed anyone into the healing room for a long time

Indeed, things were a bit too easy for him.

I still hold true to my theory that it's possible that Thor may have learned about his Brother's survival sometime before the events of "The Avengers" and that he was probably tracking him towards the other end of the galaxy, after having potentially heard rumors of his dealings with the so called "gangsters" of the nine realms.

Thor probably got into a scuffle with someone or with a group of beings which somehow resulted in him being transported to Earth.

The reason why I say that he was transported to Earth by means other than his own capabilities is that I don't think Thor has learned on how to travel between realms on his own (with the usage of his hammer) as of yet. Nor do I think that the Bi-Frost has been completely repaired.

IF Thor was capable of traveling between Realms on his own accord, then I would imagined that he would have brought a army of Asgardians to Earth to help defend it instead of just relying on his Avengers' Teammates.

Actually Loki pretty much went toe to toe with him, I think Thor & Loki's fight should've been a bit more one-side in Thor's favor (especially since Loki didn't use much magic).

Heck, none of them used their signature attacks.lol

No lighting or whirlwinds on Thor's end and no offensive magic from Loki.

I expected Thor to fight physically but I wanted to see Loki use magical attacks to help even the odds.

After having been spoiled by Thor's first episode in "EMH's" I was kind of hoping for a battle scene in "Thor" like the one that Animated Thor and Loki had in their first bout.

Yeah with the lightning blasts and Loki's cool dark energy attacks, man I wish Loki shot energy blasts through his hands in the film instead of relying in Gungnir.

It was clear to me Thor wasn't being offensive against Loki, at that point he didn't want to kill him all he wanted was answers. The only time Thor lost his temper was when Loki said he was gonna go bang Jane.

Well Tom did mention that given Loki is no longer bound by his duties as a Asgardian Prince that this new sense of freedom will allow him to practice the "dark arts" that he would have normally not been permitted to do so..so maybe those blasts will appear in The Avengers.

Most of the fight took place after Thor lost his temper though, so he should've still been angry during their battle.

I think the part where Thor says, "ENOUGH!" and basically takes Loki out in one motion seems to show that Thor could take out his bro at any moment to me. I think he was really trying to understand what was going on with his bro and they were having more of an argument than a "deathmatch" until that point. Even then he knew how to take Loki out and how to constrain him, as if he had done it b4 really.

I think at this time it's pretty clear the Cosmic Cube will be used to bring Thor to earth. Knowing Loki, he will purposefully bring him to earth to make him watch as he takes it over ..... trick him into fighting the Avengers .... or both.

Well thougth. That really could happen.

Like people have mentioned, if the bifrost were up and running then they could transport the Asgardian army and that would make for one boring ass story.

I really wish it were Mjolnir
