Doesn't look like he did any interviews

Is it just me, or does he look like 5 years younger with that weight loss. His face is a lot thinner too or am I seeing things?

probably a combination of the shaving and muscle lose

I suspected something like this. First in shape for Thor, then loosing weight for Rush and again training for Thor 2. His salary will turn into compensation for personal suffering.
I still want to see his role in Red Dawn too.

It looks to me like Kenneth Branaugh is saying "Please don't hit me in the head with that water bottle."

And I hope that Chris Hemsworth will keep the long hair for Thor 2. It'll be better than a wig. ;)

for those of you with access to Iron on sheets for a regular printer I made this name tag for a tee shirt :D

I just want to know what in the world his wife was thinking when she, with that developing baby in her swelling belly was thinking when she slid down that waterslide! She's a 35 year old woman and the older a woman gets the riskier the pregnancy. When my sister was her age and she was pregnant for her youngest boy the doctors she was seeing were trying to get her to have an abortion because they said her son might be mentally ******ed, which turned out to be untrue thankfully, but even if he was disabled she's the one person we all knew had the experience to take care of him because she used to care for disabled children in her home. Mrs. Hemsworth is quite lucky that she didn't put enough stress on her body to jar the fetus. I just hope in the future she does not do these risky things. Yes, a pregnant woman's body isn't as delicate as we once thought and you can engage in physical activity, but there are just some things you cannot do to your body without the possibility of harming the fetus, and an aging body is always a concern when even in your 30's. I should know because I am a woman in her thirties...well, at least for another year and I've started becoming more conscientious about what age means to my body. I'm begging Ilsa to please be more careful while she's pregnant.

I, too, am a woman in her 30's with children.

Good for her for keeping active and happy! There's nothing better for her little one!

I think your sister should have changed doctors if she was being given such bizarre advice from them. I agree with fox .... Yay for staying active and healthy.

I'm 33 and 8 mons. pregnant for the first time. So far, all tests done have come up roses for us. My mom had me when she was 38/39 years old. I'm definitely not opposed to having another child in a couple more years. We're all active, healthy individuals (I loves me a good hike and jog!) The advice that doc gave your sister really is out of left field; there may be some heightened risk associated with pregnancies past the age of 35 BUT genetic/birth defects can happen with any birth regardless of the mother's age. If she's generally healthy and takes care of her body and her baby, I think those factors more than anything will indicate the health of the baby when its born.

Also, Susan Downey is 37 I believe and pregnant. It's not uncommon these days for older women to give birth *waves*

Best of luck with the baby, Suzanne. You must be so excited.

Thank you! Yes, totally excited :yay: His first onesie is a Captain America number from BabyGap. And I'm already calling him my little Super Soldier, because that's how I roll LOL!

Hey, she's pregnant, not sick. And that slide doesn't look too dangerous that she would lose the baby. If that's been the case, there would be something wrong in general. And sorry, 35 isn't too old for getting baby and being active when everything is ok and she's healthy!

So, congrats to Chris and Elsa, well done :-).

I'm not going to apologize for what I posted, but the Alpha Female comes out in me when I see people doing things that will heighten the risk to the safety of developing offspring. Seriously women can take a lot more physical strain when pregnant, yes, but you don't push that limit to include activities that will jostle the developing fetus about, like steep inclined plunges on a slide. I just think she was stupid to do that and should be thankful she hopefully didn't do any permanent damage to the growing organs of that baby by subjecting it to unnatural movements of momentum. All I'm saying is that she needs to be more conscientious about the budding life that's growing inside her body and become more Alpha minded and less subordinate minded.

I am happy for Chris and Ilsa. I just want them to show more concern about their activities in concern with Ilsa's and the baby's bodies.

An active lifestyle isn't launching yourself down waterslides. People can break bones on those things nevermind the water pressure when you land. Jinouga's right, its not like she's jogging or swimming. It would be like bungy jumping.

Thank you for enhancing my comment! That is exactly what I'm trying to say.

Notice in the one photo on the UK website I linked to where Ilsa is plunging into the water. She's clutching her baby bump. There's a look of panic on her face in that moment.

Jinouga, there's no need to apologize. If my words sound rough I'm really sorry, I don't want to attack you. Your experience with your sister makes it understandable that these pics annoy you.

During my own pregnancy I went swimming and yes, at the beginning I also slided (ok, our slide was not that steep). My child is completely healthy and I'm thankful for it. So I don't worry much about what she did there. I think she (and Chris too) is clever enough to estimate the situation correctly. But that's only my opinion.

I am happy for Chris and Ilsa. I just want them to show more concern about their activities in concern with Ilsa's and the baby's bodies.
You are completely right that they should be carefull in general.

I am not entirely familiar with Mrs. Hemsworth prior to marriage or otherwise. I hate those Fast and Furious movies so I can't say I even saw her in that one sequel. I don't know...my rough estimate of Ilsa Pataky at this point of what I've seen of her in gossip rags is that she's a pretty face but not too bright a bulb. I guess that's the way some guys like their women. *shrugs*

She likes to promote herself to the tabloids that is for sure.

I notice she gave the spanish version of tabloid Hello magazine the exclusive on her pregnancy and a photo.

Not sure if we can judge her as we don't know her but those are the facts. Everything else is an assumption. I don't see Chris doing an Adrian Brody anyway. :woot:

Well, all I have to say is that I'll be fine from here on out so long as she takes care of herself from now on as well she doesn't dangle the baby from a hotel balcony after it's born...if you get my drift.

Sooooooo .... Anybody interested in getting this thread back onto the topic of Thor rather than pregnancy opinions and *****ing about Chris' wife?

No itchystratch. I want to ***** some more! :D
