Here's hoping someone somewhere posts a clear image of Guy #1.

Quick question, I know he briefly wore it in his own movie but why didn't he wear his helmet in this one? I might be the only one who like it on him haha

It seems like in the movies at least, the helmet is more of a formal and ceremonial thing.

Frankly, I prefer seeing him fight without it.

I do too since it just seems like it would get in the way of his fighting style.

There is no evidence for Thor being anything but Asgardian in the movies.

That's just nitpicking, I'm pretty sure Marvel Studios isn't going to change something as important as Thor's parentage.

They're not; if they were, I wouldn't have posted them. They were officially released.
And if they were the image quality would have been far worse. At this point there should only be bootlegs of atrocious quality, which is good.

Yep, the quality of those pictures were superb I don't see how anyone could confuse them with "bootleg" images.

Thor definitely got in more 'punches' but then hulk threw Thor more, to me the fight was a tie. Though like others have said if the jet hadn't come when it did it looke hulk would get the upper hand. still one of the best correagraphed scenes I've seen in a long time.

By the way Big Thor, I havn't been around as much obviously but I'm guessing u've seen the movie by now? How did you like it?

You can't say Hulk would've had the upperhand just because he was winning at the time, it's not like Thor was K.O.'d or anything.

Yes I've seen the film 3 times as of yesterday and I loved it every single time.

Thor's concept design from art of the avengers

Those designs are awesome, I'm glad they didn't go with that "abomination" on the far right. :oldrazz:

They somewhat did subtly. In the helicarrier he's sleeveless and has no cape, probably homage to the Ultimate Thor.

Yeah but his chest armor was basically a simplified version of his fully armored costumed, it's still looked more 616 imo.

Not really, at least to me. The sleeveless look that he wears on the helicarrier is more a cross between the far left and the lower left inset. It still incorporates the red fabric and isn't completely black/silver like the one on the far right

Exactly

It was more of a "nod" to Thor's ultimate look without it really being his Ultimate look.

I thought he looked better in this film. In "Thor" something looked off to me like it was kinda fake at times.

Anyway, I was wondering about when he was in that field with his hammer. Was he there for hours just hanging out until the final battle?

The final battle didn't take place hours after the Helicarrier battle, it was probably closer to one hour.

I think my favorite Thor outfit was the one from his solo film, followed by TA's armored outfit and the outfit his "classic" look.

I read that the final battle down on the streets of NYC clocked in at 26mins.

I didn't say that? I said if the jet hadnt come at that time it looked to be that way, meaning the fight looked like it was leaning towards his way, but Thor could just as easily turnit around as we daw qat the begining plus he didn't really have a choice but to hold back did he? Lol

glad u enjoyed it! I've only seen it the once so ive yet to see it again. Hopefully when I bet back home tomorow I will before goinhg back to work.

Either way, it seemed odd that he was just there that whole time.

Oh, I wasn't talking in terms of costumes, but just his face and hair. I should've been more specific. He looked more fake to me at times in his solo film.

Yeah he was wearing a full blown wig in THOR and his beard was noticeable dye job.

I think he was merely wearing extensions in this film with a beard that was his natural hair color.
