This post will contain spoilers from the CBM storybook, so don't clickety on the spoiler if you really want to remain unspoiled ....

Couple of questions -

When Thor and Loki exit the Quinjet will they both fly out? Or will Thor have to give Loki a lift? Does Loki fly in the comics?

What was your favorite Thor part in that storybook description?

When I finally get to see the movie I know I'm going to squeal when Loki makes his nervous comment during the storm about knowing what comes next. Love the idea of Thor ripping off that door though. He sounds super pissed off in all those scenes, especially when he smacks Cap after being asked to calm down. Hee!

I believe Loki does fly in the comics, but in the MCU, he doesn't seem capable of doing so. It's most likely that Thor just gives Loki a lift to the mountains for some private brotherly time.

One of my favorite moments was in fact reading about Loki's comment and how Thor made his entrance. It just signifies even more on what a force Thor is to be reckoned with, and that even Loki is aware of this and willing to admit it.

Yep. And even though Loki likes playing games, I'm positive that he's genuinely apprehensive about seeing Thor again.

So glad that there was clarification about ....

... Iron Man's strength when he was whipping Thor in that trailer. 400% increase has gotta hurt! Good call to give it that twist as an explanation.

Exactly this part is my favorite in the description, too.

But it's a littly pity to know already how and when he will arrive. Without knowing that it would have given me chills when the storm comes and Loki gets nervous. Damn spiolers and damn for my weakness.

Well, Tom sure wasn't exaggerating when he said that Thor is the avenger that really brings out a emotional response from Loki compared to the rest of the avengers that he encounters.

And the best thing about it is
that it still wasn't enough to put the Thunder God down! ;)

I've spent about ten years online hunting down tv scripts and even when I've had a full script for an episode of a show it still always plays out differently onscreen than it does in my imagination. So I'm happy to be a total spoiler ****e. There are always surprises even when you think you know how it will all go.

They're definitely giving Thor a good build up in terms of the display of his strength for when it comes time for him to have his fight with the Hulk.

Man I hope
when Thor rips open the ramp door that he actually rips it off the hinges with the ramp flying off into the clouds.

itchyscratch, thanks for your words. You reminded me of Pirates of the carribean: End of the world. I thought I knew nearly everything about it but I missed what happened to Will Turner at the end. I was shocked. I hope such suprises will be in Avengers.

Exactly
and he's taking that blast and those blows with hardly even protection at all, very impressive indeed
.

So the bit in the trailer when cranky Thor summons mjolnir to him and he appears to be inside the Hellicarrier possibly ....

I assumed it was part of the Hulk v Thor fight, but maybe it's when he first turns up to rescue Loki? Do they have that much space inside a Quinjet? Or does it definitely look like the Hellicarrier?

Oh god, if there's this much excitement with just the first descriptions of the beginning of the movie, what will happen when we find out about Hulk v Thor?

*explodes*

Impressive, indeed! Btw, when I read about Thor
ripping part of the Jet with his bare hands
you were the first person i thought about, ehehe.
:D

The part where
Thor's lightning powers up Iron Man's armor
is straight from A:EMH, love it! :hrt:

Even though there's a part where Thor
forces the Quinjet door down with his strength,
I hope to see much more impressive feats of strength from him. Little feats like that and tossing a large table are great but they're not enough for the God of Thunder.

aite thats it i am convinced that whedon is going to show THor's full potential....
now i will try to resist spoilers...but i already read too much

i had a dream where whedon uses that scene from EMH...
omg its coming true

Don't post videos linking to episodes of Avengers: EMH...that is called piracy boys. Deleting links, but next time will cost.

If I'm not mistaken Thor's lightning powered Iron Man's armor down in A:EMH,
instead of powering it up like in the footage description
.

Oh and
Thor ripping open the Quinjet ramp is a much bigger feat than flipping that table in THOR.

Avengers:EMH Episode 8: A Day Unlike Any Other. While battling the Enchantress and Skurge in Central Park, Thor uses his lightning to charge up Iron Man's suit.

There's no doubt about it being a better feat, however I'm hoping for much more impressive feats than that. Thor needs to be doing more things besides flipping over massive tables and
ripping open ramps
, because while those things are cool he is capable of much more. It's a good start though.

He sure did, my bad I was thinking about Thor powering down Iron Man's suit during the first episode of the Ultron arch.

True, I do want to see Thor pull off much bigger feats at some point in the film but that feat does give me hope that his super strength is definately going to be shown.
