I kind of hope that Joss drops the ball on continuity when it comes to Thor's hair.

It's wet!

It's dry!

Oooh, conditioner!

Wet again!

Blow dried to perfection!

Uh oh. How come it's suddenly wet and stringy again?

Joss????

Hehehe, and at the end appears the slogan "l'oreal because you're worth it!":woot:

lmao! I was thinking the same thing! With a little hair flip before the slogan appears. lol

And the L'Oreal-slogan fits perfectly to "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy ...". Maybe we should suggest a special actor as new advertising face for L. :cwink:

L'Oreal - because he's worthy!

Lmao!!!! :pal::pal:
Ok someone needs to do some fan art now! Lol

The artwork is already done. As usual, Tumblr got there first.

Hee! Brilliant.

I'm sure Joss will have at least one of the characters make some crack about Thor's hair. He used to make hair jibes all the time in Buffy and Angel.

About Angel: "His hair sticks straight up and he's stupid!"

About Spike: "Blondie Bear!"

@xeno: lmfao! Thank you, you made my day!

I'm sure sombody will call him Goldlocki, I bet on Tony.

I'm also glad that the forest fight is going to be mostly Thor vs IM instead of Thor vs IM & Cap, because Cap shouldn't be able to get into a serious fight with Thor without being injured.

I think they only reason Stark was able to hold his own against Thor has to do with the fact the arc reactor tech source is actually The cosmic cube which is Asgardian technology and so when Thor strikes him with Mjolnir it super charges Iron Man's armor similar to how The Red Skull used the cube's energy with Zola's custom made weapons for Hydra.

As for Cap his vibranium shield is virtually indestructible. So that gives him a slight upper hand

Of course I'd love to see Cap wipe the floor with Thor, just as he did in Avengers:EHM

I don't think it was ever clarified exactly what type of 'bridge' it was. When it was initially translated everyone thought it was a bridge over a river, but then it was suggested that maybe the translation was slightly screwy and they meant the bridge of the ship/hellicarrier.
When they have the explosion scene in the hellicarrier, my guess is that's when Banner Hulks out. You can see Thor's red cape in the right of that explosion shot, so he's definitely there. And I hope that when a very pissed off, crouching wet-haired Thor summons mjolnir to him in the trailer shot it's when he's fighting Hulk on the hellicarrier.

I have a question about the latest trailer. There's a shot of a car rolling and crashing in a tunnel. There seems to be another vehicle driving behind it. Is this likely to be something to do with Loki's escape when he's standing on the back of it?
Well the spoiler I was thinking about that was out there some time ago, had Thor taking an unexpected swim (complements of a green team mate) from a bridge.
Looks like this could be after Thor just got back up on the bridge.

To be fair, here, Cap didn't really wipe the floor with him so much as he basically outmaneuvered him and knocked him off balance in this instance. (which would be cool to see in film, but I'm good with him just holding his ground/breaking up the scuffle)
In a full on one-on-one battle, Cap is truly overmatched here.

Yeah, it's not even a contest.
I wonder how some Cap fans think he would have the slightest chance against someone like Thor...

Fanboy delusions? In virtually every incarnation, Cap has no way to actually *hurt* Thor, so whether he can outmaneuver him or not is vaguely irrelevant.

As for the movie version. . . well, while we don't have any really good, unambiguous durability feats for Thor yet, I'm reasonably confident that remains the case. Especially if the screenshots are true, and Cap is basically unable to hurt Loki.

That's probably the case here.:yay:

Nope.

I'm certain we will see some "unambiguous durability feats for Thor". We must! He's Thor, I have total faith the movie will do him justice. Cap as well, it's just IMO Cap vs Thor is a no contest. Again, because he's Thor. :woot:

Cap vs Loki is also a no contest. Loki is way too powerful, from what i understand, Loki has been "gathering" power so he's more powerful now then before. I'm thinking it'll be Thor and only Thor who ultimately takes him down.

I've been wondering if Thor has also "gathered" some kinds of new powers as well. Like the inscriptions on his armor, perhaps that's a clue in itself?

Something else I've been wondering, I've heard that Thor doesn't show up until later in the movie, that "he's been dealing with a few issues in Asgard".....what issues? Frost Giants? Has Thor gone on some kind of quest, perhaps to find a way back to Earth? Very Curious.

This is constant argument in my house. It always ends with me whipping out the comic books as "proof". lol :thor:

Technically Vibranium isn't indestructible. When hit it absorbed and stores Kinetic, Electrical, Heat, and Radiation energy. There is a limit to how much energy Vibranium can store and when Vibranium exceeds that limit it breaks. Plus you also have Vibranium cancer that cause all Vibranium to detonate with all that stored energy.

MCU vibranium may work differently from 616 vibranium.

In 616 CAP's shield is a unique metallurgical accident that gives it the energy absorbing features of vibranium and the indestructibility of adamantium.

If I were the writers of the MCU canon then I would make it that the 70+ years of existing in sub-zero temperatures have had an unexplainable effect on CAP's shield to do the same thing.

lol i would rather they just allude to the Adamantium component of his shield as a unnamed mysteriousness synthetic metal alloy and just allow the fans to fill in the blank.

As far as I'm concerned, Cap's shield is indestructible. And I heard that the only way to destroy it is to de-molecularize it something.
