I've never been one for the big buff men but this is just....wow. Jeremy Renners arms look puny to this. :hehe: also is it just me or does he look wet?

And how is this a bad thing?

I watched that movie so much as a kid - my family despises it now. I still like it for what it is (nostalgia and all that)...but if I watch it, I have to be home alone *lol* they hear that music and they go ballistic on me *lol*

I still love watching the first movie (The other two are rubbish, especially the Third one. Even Jack Black's presence couldn't save that turd of a movie.) and I'm 39. :woot:

I didn't ever get to Blackpool but I once did a painting job just around the corner at Lytham St Anne's.

On topic ... Thor Arms! Arms of Thor!!

*swoons*

Haha that's where I live! :woot:

And how is this a bad thing?

Never said it was. Tall & skinny >>>> Buff.

and Ooohh yes Thors arms, aren't they glorious? all wet, sweaty and shiny? :hehe:

Oh, what did I started yesterday with that pic :word:

And now imagine how it looks on the big screen :awesome:

OMG Thor Rip-offs. I understand that Thor is public domain like Hercules and all the other Myth based characters but if your gonna make a low quality Thor/Nosre God movie at least do it right!:csad:

It was total tv fluff, but the OMG Girls Look At Those Arms! factor was well catered for with Kevin Sorbo and Kevin Smith ( RIP).

Few more pics and videos from Rush ....

OMG i didn't know he died.....:csad:

I just realized that hey used the wrestler Kevin Nash (aka Diesel) to play Odin.
Oh... dear sweet Kevin Smith :csad: I remember going ahead and getting all the seasons of Herc (& Xena) on DVD and then in the course of rewatching being all "Hmmm... wonder what some of the actors are up to now? I know Cupid went on to be Eomer in LOTR." (sorry, don't think Karl Urban will ever live that down in my eyes *lol*) and finding out that Kevin had died quite a couple years earlier. :csad: Loved his Ares, especially as the seasons went on (I think Ares really was probably the first bad guy I loved to hate and 'hated' to love *lol* - Loki would later take the top spot in this category :oldrazz:). Would've been really interesting to see where his career might've gone if he hadn't passed away.

Oh my God...I was thinking of the other Kevin Smith and not Ares when I read the above posts. What's even worse is that he died doing a stunt for a sequel to a movie nobody even cared about. :(

I freak'n loved his Ares. I wanted him to be casted as Ares in any wonder woman movies. Could you image Lucy Lawless as Hippolyta and Keven Smith as (DC) Ares.

God, I used to have such a crush on Kevin Sorbo. I even watched Kull just to see him and that hot, steamy sex scene he has in that movie. *redfaced*

One day to go!!! Niece has made herself a funky We Have A Hulk t-shirt, plus she has a mjolnir which she's vowing to wave in the air whenever Thor does something squeeeeeworthy.

Haven't told her that after we see it in the morning and have some lunch that I've bought tickets so we can head straight back in to see it again. :woot: Most of the sessions are already booked out by the way. None of the gold class 2D tickets are available in the afternoon either. I'll try to get 2D tickets next weekend.

I'm just curious; but for those who know on how strong Thor normally is....

Could Thor really be hurt severely if he were dropped from the Hellcarrier while inside the Hulk Cage onto the ground?

The reason why i ask is because from what spoilers have indicated, Loki said that he wanted to test the mortal theory of Asgardians being inmmortal and thus wanting to show that Thor could be hurt.

Loki wanted to put humans' perception of asgardians being immortal to the test, it was never implied that he believed it.
In the comics canon Thor would have survived something like that, but in the movie universe there is at least the chance he might have gotten seriously hurt, possibly killed, but it remains uncertain.

True; though I would think that
If the MCU Thor can easily take in a blast from a 400% charged Iron Man right in the face and not get phased by it, along with being dragged around next to a cliff and go toe to toe with the Hulk, while having fire fallen on top of him in the city with no injuries present, then the MCU Thor is just as strong as his comic counterpart.

Okay, so I am sure this question has been ask a 283774893 times, but WHY does Tony Stark keep referring to Thor as a demigod in the advertisements?

Because it's technically accurate according to which definition of demigod one looks at.

No problem, I changed it.

Here's another definition:

Demigod- A person with outstanding or godlike attributes.

I would say Thor fits that definition. I would've rather they called him a God but the term Demigod does make sense as well.

Edit: Whiskey covered it.

Thanks for the edit. Demigod is just a personal irritant. It won't effect my enjoyment of the movie.
