Another thing that annoys me about Wolverine. "Oh, I have adamantium claws, I can cut through anything as if it's wet tissues."

Oh yeah...Even when the guys have skin/muscles harder than steel, and wolvie doesn't have superhuman strength...

"Oh I have a big hammer that can control the weather, nothing can stop me."

Ok, you're a big Wolverine fan. Got it.

What hypocrisy? One guy's magic with actual super strength, the other guy has an unbreakable skeleton, with apparently magical claws that can cut through anything with barely applying any force at all.

The rules of comics allow that. I mean you are talking about magic and super strength in the same sentence. How do they make any sense? :woot:

I don't know a heck of alot about Thor, but was surprised when he punched Hulk in the face, Hulk stumbles back!

It's just no interesting. It's much more fun to read about someone with limitations overcoming the odds, than always being an unstoppable guy. Same reason why I wish they'd nerf his healing abilities. If he'd return to needing days to heal from major injuries, instead of hours or minutes, there'd probably be a lot more interesting scenarios, instead of being the one guy who always charges in.

Wolverine is as unstoppable as any other major superhero. Not a fan of nerfing characters. It feels like bad writing, especially when you consider that a major idea behind the mutants are their ever evolving skills.

That's what I already consider the stuff he does nowadays.

It's because he's incredibly strong.:word:

Unstoppable? Nah. He's pretty beatable to me.

While I am a fan of Logan, he isn't close to my favorite. I prefer Thor. Just showing the hypocrisy.

If you prefer thor, how is it you don't know that Thor's weather manipulation abilities are all on him, and not the hammer?

ALOT of people don't know that, which leads me to believe they don't really know much about him.

Nope he's saying Thor is capable of weather manipulation without Mjolnir, it's been shown quite a few times actually.

It wouldn't make sense for him to do it often though, otherwise he wouldn't be Thor he'd be the male version of "Storm".

When did I say Thor couldn't do that? Though honestly having trouble remember him doing that.

I didn't say you said it, but you heavily implied it with your response to some saying something about Wolverine's claw.

Oh and did it in "Age of Thunder", quite a few times in Thor Vol. 3, and even in Hulk Annual 2001 against Hulk.

I like Wolverine better when he's treated as a top tier street level guy, who happens to heal really fast. The periods when he's written that way tend to also have better characterization.

That said, I feel like killing a young fanboy every time he cuts someone with class 100 durability; such level of cutting power should be restricted to actual *powerful* weapons, like the Ebony Blade, not any damage weapon made out of adamantium.

True, when Wolverine cuts someone like Thor or Hulk it should scratch the surface of their skin NOT cut through them

going to have to pay attention to that on my next viewing. completely missed it.

Y know, this is the 1st movie I ever saw that demanded 2nd viewing, because there was so much going on.

I missed the part when Iron Man fired at Cap's shield, created a ricochet effect and took out a bunch of aliens.

I caught that shot both times, there really wasn't anything new I caught the 2nd time but I did enjoy everything more.

"Age of Thunder" is canon?

As to the most recent run, doesn't Thor become one with Mjolnir? He is also unable to "ride the lighting" and transform into Blake without Mjolnir
i believe, which is why the break is such a big deal.

This term has never been used in comics. Loki could be talking about some kind of dark magic/sorcery.

This made think that he had help from someone like Hela,(Karnilla)the Norn Queen or possibly the The Enchantress :yay:
