Illogical. I'm simply delivering statements of truth regarding the above-average live-action movie and the classic, magnificent original animated series.
You really need to get out more

yes I was talking about the cartoon series. Dont think I saw the animated movieI think Havok was just talking about the cartoon series.
Anyway, I love both TF movies and the G1 series.![]()

For some reason people don't like Bay. I love his movies.
Well, at least it's not as dumb as Spider-Man 3. WTF was that?
That is usually how I tell a good movie is if the critics hate it then i go and watch it and its one of the best movies I've ever watched. Transformers was awesome!!well if this was from critics dont listen cause they hate everything

So you've never seen Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, the first two original Star Wars, Spider-Man 2, X2 & other action movies that critics liked?

There's also no decent character development #1.

I think they pretty much nailed it, but the only flaw I could find is that it seemed to be more about the humans than the robots. Which got boring after awhile. But I guess they were saving it for the climax, which kicked several asses btw.
Some people complain about it not being close enough to the cartoon, only a fool would go in expecting a perfect carbon copy of the cartoon. If it was just the same as the cartoon, wouldn't it be boring since we've seen it all before? They were very creative (in a good way) yet still managed to remain true to the basic formula. Giant fighting robots.![]()

The changes weren't all that drastic. Transformers, contrary to popular belief is not just some toon from the eighties. There is no one original for the Transformers, by my count, at current there are over 25 continuities, 10 or so which could be considered "G1". The cartoon continuity isn't even "official" anymore actually, it's considered an alternate universe to the real American continuity.Of course if someone was expecting as carbon copy: They are fools! But what Bay made was the complete oposite; and that extreme is no better then the other.
There are so many drastic changes in the movie that, to make a comparaison, it would be as if they would of made a batman movie in which batman never lost his parents, was dressed in a pink swan costume and had to rob banks to pay for his high-tech gadgets... It just doesn't fly and neither does the TF movie.![]()
