Apocalypse Will Hugh Jackman return?

Don't particularly care whether or not Jackman returns for Apocalypse. Another Mangold Wolverine movie however, I really want to see. Especially if they bring back Liev's Sabertooth.

I totally agree with this i think Jackman should finish up with a last Wolverine solo flick.

I wonder what Cyclops fans would feel if Wolverine ends appearing on Apocalypse getting a bigger role than Cyclops once again, and on the movie that Cyclops could shine the most in the whole franchise.

I think the temptation may prove too great for the producers to give up, but I hope Logan isn't involved in Apocalypse. If he has to be, maybe a villainous turn could be interesting.

I wouldn't mind him being in Apocalypse but I think it'd be nice to see a film without him as the central character.
First Class did pretty well without him so I think it can be done. Plus Hugh is a bit tired of playing Wolverine now since he has talked about retiring (I think anyone would be by now). The character has been explored enough in the films and all they need to do now is give him a proper exit.

Whenever and whatever his last performance as Logan is, one thing is absolutely, positively certain above all...

He needs to send the character off by donning the mask.

At the time of the first film's production and release, I suppose there was a plausible reason for choosing not to go with it...sort of the same reasoning that Al Gough and Miles Millar had with "Smallville" in the sense that superheroes and comic books weren't so widely embraced then.

But the world we live in today, in as far as comic book films and adaptations and the sheer magnitude of how beloved and coveted these characters are now by wider audiences, is so different from 14 years ago that putting him in that cowl would not only be embraced but encouraged.

It's a visual that I think would not only be a great final note for Hugh but would also be a great threshold to cross so that future iterations and actors would be more willing to continue with it.

Hmm in my opinion, he doesn't need to wear the mask especially for his last outing. He has been playing the role for 14 years, wearing the mask for his last outing would be just too late. Save the mask for the reboot.

Jackman once said in an interview that he would play Wolverine ten times. I know he meant figuratively , but he's so close now it has to happen. I'd prefer him to have a small role in Apocalypse and one last hurrah in a solo film. I guess it depends on where they go with the franchise. The timeline jump around is getting confusing.

Also I'd like to say I think he is an underrated actor and would respect his decision to move. I think he holds the record for playing a superhero character on film.

It will disrupt the interaction of having a young Cyclops, Jean and Storm. Heck, his interaction with Jean will feel so bizarre...

Besides, Cyclops could barely deal with him being already the X-Men leader we know.

I really hope Kingber, Harris and Dougherty take it easy, and don´t go stretching things too much, with all the current hype for DOFP.

If we were to see Logan again on XM:A, I rather have him as a cameo or end credits scene, teasing the Weapon X project. (The REAL Weapon X project, did you hear me? Rothman, Gavin?)

He's all but confirmed for Apocalypse.

The wolverine of Apocalypse will be one wolverine from future's mind took over so In apocalypse he will have no memory of events of past films set past 1973 so he would be meeting most of characters for first time in new timeline.
Like DOFP the main focus will be on Xavier,Magneto,Mystique In Apocalypse most likely.

A small role would be cool. I also dislike the attention Wolverine gets at times but after seeing DOFP, it really wasn't that bad and I have really come to love Jackman's Wolverine. Ten times better than the fraud who's been calling himself Wolverine in the comic book the past 10 years

1. Logan's and remember everything for the first timeline till Kitty sent him back?

unless the mid/end credit scene has some link to the film we just watched then i doubt it very much, it would be a weird transitions from what we watched to a character who wasn't in that movie

although we do know stryker is in apocalypse so it may just be a weapon X tease with logan making a cameo
