I respect Backlund as a worker because he was great, but he wasn't somebody I'd jumped out of my seat for. Recently, I'm having a field day though by going back and watching his heel promos. Not sure if great actor or legit bat sh** crazy!

Any of you guys catching Lucha Underground at all? I like what I'm watching since it launched. It does get me angry that I have El Ray Network, but nothing to watch ROH on TV without relying on streaming.

I am still shocked that Ricky Banderas/Mesias put on that much mass. I stopped watching AAA around early 2013 and he was not that huge. Hopefully running it as a TV series with breaks will keep Lucha Undgerground interesting. I was rolling when Johnny Mundo had that fight in the hallway.

WWE produced but it involves Lanny Poffo and his mother doing a lot of talking along with a lot of vets he worked with and of course... No Vince in sight.

That fight in the hallway was great because of how it was shot. And Banderas has become a real bodybuilding nut over the last year. He's a big dude, but damn he got BIG. Brian Cage is on roster so they must be taking notes from each other.

Oh and throw my name in the hat of people enjoying Lucha Underground...I hope it becomes successful over time because it's quite refreshing and unique. Last episode had two really awesome matches and some nice development of Morrison's feud with the boss and Big Rick.

But I'm more excited for GFW...I think that if the stars align, it'll make a big splash on the mainstream wrestling scene.
