More thoughts on the podcast:

- I'm surprised Punk didn't bring up that he wasn't the main-event in the majority of his WWE title defenses at the PPVs during his year long reign. Cena/Laurinaitis main-evented over Punk/Bryan, which was ridiculous. Maybe he forgot to mention it since he said so much.

- I think he's jumping the gun in saying Jericho has an agenda and only wanted to speak to him to get him on his podcast, versus wanting to check on him. Then again, who knows Jericho worded his message.

He briefly mentions the main event thing when he says that his title reign finally had a main event against Cena. You could tell the frustration in his voice, but he didn't go further than that. Maybe we'll get a better breakdown of it on the next podcast this week.

We noted a while back that top indie star Uhaa Nation was on WWE's radar and that he later impressed officials at a WWE Performance Center tryout. Other rumors said Nation was close to signing with WWE.

There were lots of rumors coming out of this weekend's Preston City Wrestling event in the UK that said Nation has signed with WWE and will be heading to the Performance Center in Orlando soon. At that PCW event, Nation defeated former WWE Superstar Chris Masters to win the PCW title. For what it's worth, talents headed to WWE usually drop their indie titles. Below is a new photo of Nation with the strap:

get ready, and just because the song is catchy as hell

Uhaa is so talented. So glad one of the best guys I've ever worked alongside is getting a shot at the big time. No one deserves it more.

Uhaa Nation is such a cool name, too bad they are going to ditch it (the CM Punk situation I think has pounded the nail in the coffin of any possibility that a popular indie worker will retain his ring name).

Hey Nolan, since you book I'm wondering if you'd be up for posting entries for my new pro wrestling blog PWManifesto?

I'm trying to see if I can give wrestling fans a more diverse wrestling site than y'all are use to being around and with you being in the business, it might just give it that different flavor.

They will also give him a stereotypical gimmick.

I watched the Scooby-Doo movie so I might watch this.

And I see the bellas front and centre just again goes to show you can be a woman with all the talent in the world but it all comes down to who's bed you share

I'm actually convinced out of the all the classics divas only trish would have a chance if they were all starting out now.

What is UFC going to do when Cena retires? Forcibly or not? They'll be screwed.

Happy 27th birthday to Trinity "Naomi" Fatu!!!!!!!!

If HHH is in charge, I can see guys like Ambrose and Rollins having a strong main event future. They have headlined ppv shows both as a team and as opponents, over Cena matches nonetheless. I can see them being used as stars.

So word has it that a Ryback vs HHH match was planned for Royal Rumble 2015 but officials have now soured on the idea after seeing Ryback's match with Cesaro on Raw a little while back.

Ryback probably would've injured HHH and got fired.

Heard Styles had a close call with a Styles Clash botch on Satoshi Kojima.

Anyone think he should give up the move?

No, it's like the safest move in wrestling. Guys need to learn how to actually take the move. He used that move for years in TNA with zero problems.

"That's disappointing" said no one ever.

Why not set up a sponsorship program? That's how UFC does it.

Because WWE want to micromanage their control of every aspect of the guys and girls that work for them.

Was he actually meaning Jericho directly or commenting on what Jericho had said about hearing that Punk wasn't even talking to friends from WWE?
