Wolverine VS. Sentinel clip

We can't just assume that Trask is there just to get involved with Sentinels...I think they intentionally didn't give his character the full name, "Bolivar Trask"...Whether it's meant to throw us off, I'm not sure...All I'm saying is, based on how they're making the Sentinel(s) out to being as relevant to the main story, I'm not convinced that Trask will have anything to do with the one we see in the DR..

Possibly not the one in the Danger Room, yes - that could have been Stryker's work. But they could be involved later on, explaining why we only got the head shot of the Sentinel. I wouldn't use 'not putting his full name' as a reason he'd not be involved with them - that doesn't make sense. Besides, Bolivar is not an all too commonly used name. And who knows? Maybe they have new plans for Trask than what was in the comics...

I am looking forward to X3, I really am, but that clip...that clip was really bad, It was really bad.... what happened to halle berry and hugh acting skills... or the "liquid" colossus.... And I really hope that in the actual movie, we get to see the sentinel, not just to lights in the air..... you know, I have been waiting to see a sentinel on the big screen since X-Men 1 and now it seems like thwe only thing we are geting are two cheap looking lights on a stick ...WTF
(and don´t get me started on Juggernaut)

I'm hoping the scene continues on, with Wolverine looking smug, then 2 more Sentinals appear out of no where (we see them in full view) and put him back in his place, the other X-men coming to his rescue.

If you know that your in the Danger Room and everything looks real but is fake instead would you warn others or would you remain calm and just make fun of it?

Anyway this clip is unfinished. The Collosus Metal-up sound effects are missing and his hair hasnt been "blackened" yet. From what I've seen ( and I've said it before , different clip ) the Sentinel could be seen but only a leg sticking out the thick smoke. When Wolverine chops his head clean off you see the leg dropping backward.

And I really have no explanation how Wolverine got off that Sentinel

Exactly. It's obvious the clip was chopped to bits to keep certain stuff secret. It's amusing how people think just cause they show the head, they'll show everything, or that its the finished product and theres nothing missing. People just love to jump the gun here, don't they?

i've got to say that i intentionally didn't go to the sentinels thread coz i didn't want to be spoiled. then i watch leno and BAM! it's there right in front of me!

i seriously hope they don't show phoenix effects when famke's showing clips. and james better not show cyclops clips outside of alkali! haha. i want to be pleasantly surprised (i hope).

Another point about unfinished effects. In the teaser trailer, when Jean blasts the infirmary doors, they look like plastic. In trailer 2 they drag of the ground, gouging it and bits are flying off it. It will all be sorted

Look if they're gonna have Sentinel in the DR and nowhere else then I doubt the only clear part we're gonna see is the head at the end, as we saw in the Leno clip. They can't have the Sentinel as 2 headlights behind a black cloud of smoke and lasers coming from the darkness for the whole DR sequence, the X-Men would essentially be attacking nothing, it'd be absolutely ridiculous!! Remember aswell Ratner talked about making the Sentinel a character, we're gonna have to see more of it!
