Worst Lines/Dialogue in Movies

Bring it On - I swear this movie reads like a "How To" manual for bad dialogue...

"She puts the "ass" in "massive".

"You put the "lewd" in "deluded".

"She puts the "itch" in "b**ch."

"She puts the "****e" in "horrible."

"Let's not put the "duh" in dumb!"

"You were having cheer-sex with him!"

"Hey, ladies, wanna see my spirit stick?"

"What is your sexuality?"
"Well, Jan's straight, and I'm... controversial."
"Are you trying to tell me you speak f*g?"
"Oh, fluently."

"Courtney, this is not a democracy, it's a cheerocracy. I'm sorry, but I'm overruling you."
"You are being a cheer-tator Torrance and a pain in my ass!"

"My brother wants to check out your rack."

"If we're gonna be the best, we have to have the best. Missy's the poo, so take a big whiff!"

James Gordon Jr.: Why's he running, Dad?
Lt. James Gordon: Because we have to chase him.
James Gordon Jr.: He didn't do anything wrong.
Lt. James Gordon: Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight.

Just horrible. But somehow I have to admit I enjoyed the movie.....

Most of that is intentionally playing up to high school stereotypes. Bring It On is funny

Seriously... I'll admit that little speech by Gordon at the end doesn't feel like the most realistic thing that someone would say, but I still think it works. And Oldman's delivery is great.

Every line in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones -- the worst offender is without a doubt Hayden Christansen.

When he uttered "You'll pay for all the Jedi you killed today," I rolled around laughing the first time I heard it.

i'm just jumping on the bandwagon

"He used to be so cute, now he's all like, Imma gangsta, yo!"

Yes. I saw that movie. In theatres.

Oh yes. I think Raimi has a corniness fetish. Or is it a cheesiness fetish? It's one of the two.

Yeah, Raimi is infatutuated with 50's and early 60's-era Americana and the aw-shucks mentality of films from that era. This love filters through all three of the Spider-Man films very strongly. I've always found it amusing and kind of refreshing given all the ironic detachment and "darkness" pervading most films of Spider-Man's ilk.

Yeah, if his standards are so high he thinks that is one of the worst lines he heard in a film, I'm surprised he didn't kill himself in the theater within ten minutes of watching any FF movie. :lmao:

I love this speech, but it only just now hit me that little James would have absolutely no idea what the hell his dad is going on about.

Yeah, it kinda makes ya want to smack him with a shovel, though. I sure hope he and Spider-Man part ways soon and someone better takes over.
