I wouldn't mind not having Wolverine in X4, but it's gonna be pretty damn hard to get those butts in the seats for an X-Movie that doesn't have Wolvie in it. He is THE most popular X-Men at this point, whether you like it or not. He is one of, if not the number one, draw to the movies for people outside of us posters here, and comic book fans.

I'm a Advertising/Marketing major, and just thinking about marketing a movie with the number one star gone makes my head hurt already, but I know they/I could make it work.

Would I mind? Not at all! He's always running off anyways, either in search of his own adventure or his own private heroic quests (looking for Jean, looking for Rogue). It wouldn't be too hard to just state that he ran off once again on some far-off quest and the team has to deal with the latest threat without him.

Plus he's getting his own movie, so not like we'd feel neglected

This is a common statement that's not true.
X1 was about the X-Men
X2 was about Wolverine
X3 was about Phoenix, Wolverine, Magneto, and the Cure

What I mean is, Wolverine in X3 sucks so much ass. Compare the way Wolverine screams when Prof. X & Jean died to Cyclops screaming at the lake, Wolverine screams like a sissy girl and he's so tall to be Wolverine.

Personally Wolverine is the most interesting character to me, and imagining a movie without him in it is... weird. I'd watch X4 regardless, but probably on DVD if it didn't have him in it.

However, that said, I do agree that he got a hell of a lot of screentime in the three first X-Men movies and I see why people would be sick of him if he's not their fav character. So... I can totally understand why you'd want an X-Men movie to focus on other characters.

Also, I don't think Jackman wants to do another X-Men movie after Wolverine. Therefore, if they do have X4, I'd bet big bucks it WILL be without Wolverine/Jackman. So my advice would be to hope and hope for X4... because if you get it... Wolverine will be absent anyway, IMO.

Wolverine Is the most popular x-man.. but personally i think hes so over rated.. i would watch an X4 without wolverine, and get it on dvd.. im still looking foward to a wolverine movie though..
