i bet ill be the youngest one there anyways....

Does anyone want to call the Loew's and try to see if that's where we will be watching the trailer? I don't mean lying necessarily, but maybe being a little...deceptive?

Hahaha. It really is one of the greatest shows ever made.

I just watched "High School Big Shot" last night and laughed my ass off.

I go to Northeastern and me and my roommate will be going. I'm hoping for some good Joker swag since I already got the Harvey Dent shirt from the dentmobile.

I'm gonna try to be there. I have classes (god I had college) until 3:30 so I'm not sure if I will make it. It takes about an hour and a half to get there not including traffic. I will definitely have online access if I can't. Please let me know if you need my help. I am more than willing.:brucebat:

If you plan on helping with online support, please post other contact information outside the board. PM me and I can include it on my post with the roster. The board may be hammered that day and could prove to be slow or unreliable.

I'm going to PM a mod to get our roster moved to the first post of this thread, that way everyone can have easy access to it if needed.

Also, I highly suggest that all online support use the IRC chat setup for all the "oracles" to discuss and share information. To use the IRC chat, follow the instructions posted at the following link http://forums.superherohype.com/showpost.php?p=14667059&postcount=71

Additionally, there should be a Boston channel setup for us. Once it is, I will post the name of that IRC channel in this post.

Things to keep in mind regarding tomorrow's game for HENCHMAN!

1. 42 won't send you into harm's way during rush hour for legal reasons.
2. 42 did a dry run, "about an hour" means they timed their trail.
3. Brush up on all presidential history, and memorize the money/portrait details
4. Make sure the runner always faces or knows a common direction (north is good) when you talk to them.
5. Speed runs are possible if one oracle keeps good trail notes (local friends inform buddies to lurk in the area for a txt or twitter)
6. Checkpoints will most likely be homogenous (144 different checkpoints is way too much), so if one team falls behind on one city, keep an eye out for common clues.
7. I'd recommend a local scout in each town get a feel of the area and report into their respective city
8. Games will probably utilize symbol recognition, words and numbers, and possibly, GPS coordinates. If they used google maps once, they're hinting we do too.
9. Baseball. Sports bar folks realized that all 10 North American cities only share a baseball team, not a basketball team, football team, or hockey team.
10. Remember, 42 has to run this by the book, and probably didn't run through the trail. Keep a speed team handy.

Figment571 on AIM as an oracle for hire (no cost!). Pm me quick up for New York Philly Boston, first come first serve!:hoboj:

A friend of mine is going to the Boston event, and I'll be his contact via phone. woo!

I'm on the lookout for a backup online partner if anyone is interested. (I'm planning on using my mum, but I know she won't want to stay online if this turns into an hour-long deal).

It will be a big group (hopefully 300 large). Those are just points to keep in mind to make the gameplay easier and rules to follow to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Also, anyone can feel free to contact me. However, I can only help one person at a time on my cell (obviously). So look for others and make sure to group up as best as possible. I know there are others helping and if we need more online help, I can ask others helping with others cities. I will have my AIM up (sn: Vanman0254) and email running, so i will have several alternate methods of contact.

P.S. Fixed the link for IRC chat instructions

Just as a warning: the weather is looking like rain tomarrow. Be prepared!

I'll probably be around early, but I'll hide in the Borders for a while if the rain is bad.

Now I'm confused. Is this a 300 person trivia scavenger hunt for a location to see the trailer? If thats true then wouldn't the logical place be the Loews theater on the other side of the park?

Yes, but we'll probably have to get a "pass" aka Joker card. That will probably be one of the last steps, so we can't just go straight to Loew's.

Well that makes sense. I'm looking for people to go with but so far no one is available. I could always just show up and meet up with the people here. I'm sure it won't be too difficult spotting a large crowd of Batman fans. Like AdamantiumWR I go to Northeastern so I'm just a quick walk away. What time do we all meet?

We're supposed to show up at 5:30 pm at the GW statue.

I think you'll be okay just coming and joining with the group.
