Apocalypse X-Men: Apocalypse coming in 2016!

If Singer is proven innocent with this lawsuit. The press and the rest will forget about this quickly. And I don't think lawsuit will hurt Singer's relationship with the studio, producers and cast members.

You're crazy if you think just because he's proven innocent, which doesn't even happen in a civil case which is what this is, that people aren't going be uneasy about working with him.

Look at the scrutiny Cate Blanchett went through during Oscar season for being associated with Woody Allen - same for Scarlett Johansson. No actor is going to want to go through that if they don't have too.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Fox dropped him for Apocalypse. The publicity, even if nothing comes from the case, may just be too bad for them to want to stay associated with him.

Whether or not one is innocent, these kinds of allegations are probably the worst kind to happen to anyone. There will always be people questioning whether it were really true or not, even if the person is exonerated. Even just the mere suggestion of it may poison a person's career.

If Singer is dropped from Apoc I will be gutted, just as he is returning to the franchise this had to happen.

Though dont get me wrong, if he is guilty of the allegations he deserves to be punished. I hope he isnt though, as I like the guy as director and his movies have always had an effect on me.

He may not have even been In hawaii when alleged incident happened.

Noone knows yet what this means for Apocalypse.

I'm crazy then. :whatever:

http://www.hitfix.com/awards-campaign/dont-expect-the-original-x-men-cast-in-x-men-apocalypse

As for when 'Apocalypse' takes place, Kinberg states, "It really follows the 'First Class' cast. Meaning it is a sequel that will feature McAvoy, Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nic Hoult and that cast. It is not a sequel that would necessarily feature Ian, Patrick, Halle and the original cast. It would take place roughly between the past of 'Days of Future Past' and when 'X-Men' first started."

Its funny he says

"Certainly things that take place in 'Days of Future Past' in the past have an impact on the future," Kinberg says. "That's the whole point of the plot and, I can say, in at least the vaguest of terms there care repercussions from what happens in 1973 that ripple all the way forward in time. Which means they would ripple through the time periods of the original 'X-Men' movies. That's a vague answer to your question."

I think he just literally means it takes place during the time period in between X-Men and DOFP. Which makes sense. He can't really say what will be different without spoiling things. THings will be different but the decade still exists inbetween the two films.

It sounds like they want to keep some connection to other X-Men films
It defetly sounds like they are going the road that the time travel causes alternations to previous films allowing Cyclops and Jean's return at end of Days of future Past but doesn't completly erase any of films and if younger cyclops and jean are featured In Apocalypse it has to be set around 1986 or 1987

As for wolverine
while he isn't directly mentioned it's very possable they are keeping wolverine as not encountering X-Men till the 2000's and using gambit to fill the wolverine void In Apocalypse and third Wolverine film may be set post ALtered future ending of DOFP.Channing Tatum may being sought to bring some star power to APocalypse to make up losing Hugh Jackman and rest of OT cast after Days of future Past

-"Lupita for Storm?" Hahahaha:whatever:

-There are a couple things that I think are likely to be "incorporated" into the movie, but as for anything else?
:hmm

At least he said late teens and early 20s for young characters. I don't want to see a group of late 20s/early 30s playing teenagers.

I just don't see how a lot of age of apocalypse can be used In a First Class
sequel.

Neither do I. Apocalypse taking over North America and threatening nuclear war are about the only things from the comic I can think of being used in the movie, though the circumstances under which they happen might be different.

Just because an actor is late 20's to early 30's in real life doesn't mean they can't portray younger characters. Look at Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield - both played high schools characters in TASM 1 & 2 and they are both 25 and 30 respectively.

Lupita could easily play a younger Storm in her early 20's, heck her character in 12 Years A Slave couldn't have been any older then early to mid 20's.

Stone and Garfield still look like kids in their late teens to me. Lupita does not. That's just how I see her. I'd rather they cast young for young characters and keep the group within the same age range. Not 3 19-23 year olds and 1 33 year old.

If Apocalypse is set in 1987... we're going to get a 15 years old Cyclops and a 12 years old Jean Grey, according to Origins and Last Stand.

Wasn't the last stand part In 83 assuming she is 12 at that point she would be 15 in 1986

Isn't that the same thing that happened in dofp comic?

Lupita can pass as a teenager. But she definitely doesn't look like a younger Halle Berry.

That's ok
Halle's casting has plagued these movies since the first
Lupita might be able to actually pull off the whole queen/goddess thing
