Next year some will say that it almost cant be called a role. We'll see how many lines he ends getting, but I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt get more than 3

All right, so I don’t mean to keep beating a dead horse here but I watched a bit of a recent dark Phoenix interview with king berg turner and Sheridan and someone in there I can’t remember who just dropped the names of all the great actors Fox managed to sign on, Lawrence, mcavoy, fassbender, hoult, chastain and a few others. I’m like are you listening to yourself? All those people there are white and this is X-men. to make matters worse, most of the cast that’s meant to be in make up gets away with having a human form and be white for most of the film? These guys cant get any more racist. If storm and nightcrawler don’t shine one bit, I think we can definitely say fox is one of the most racist studios ever. X-men is not mean to be so ethnically linguistically and culturally monotonous.

Here’s the video. No offense to the actors, I’m sure Sheridan and turner are doing a great job!! And white is a beautiful color, standard English has a great sound to it, but thats not the only reason the X-men are beautiful!

Given the focus on female superheroes, storm would be a great character to focus on. I’d say more storm less white mystique

So who could Lamar Johnson be playing? Unfortunately there aren't a lot of prominent black X-Men in the comics, but he said he signed a multi-picture deal with Fox and would be in the next X-Men film as well. So it sounds like he has a decent role in the film, unless they cut him out.

They all sign multi-picture deals. That's kinda how this franchise and others like it work...

Remember when Fan Bingbing, after DOFP came out, was so sure she would appear in a sequel to that movie because she signed a multi-picture deal? At least Fan has the excuse of not being familiar with how Hollywood movies work. What is Lamar's excuse? This interview was held after TIFF, meaning this was conducted last month so I can't help but laugh at this: “I’ll be a part of the next [film], too." Come on dude. You'll probably have 5 lines in this film (at the most!)

But didn’t you hear? We’re getting Simon Kinberg to direct this movie. The first time ever that we’re getting a “singular vision” for the franchise. Plus he’s never directed anything! Not even ghost-directed! Even if he ghost-directed those movies, he actually improved them by his contributions!

Thank God I'm not one of these people here who would use something like that as an excuse to bash the current run of the franchise, the studio or the character and Turner's acting skills. I never bought into that old fanboy argument that an actor needs to have knowledge of the source material in order to do a good job and even less so the opposite, that if he does have that knowledge he is perfect for the role. Still. It's weird nonetheless.

I am not a Kinberg fan, but truthfully I decided I have to give this movie a chance in that although its out Kinberg ghost directed 2 films that I am by no means a fan of, it doesn't mean he did not lean anything from his past experience.

I like John Krasinski and really liked his movie, his "A Quiet Place". It was the first movie that he Directed that I really liked a lot, and it showed me he learned from his previous directing experiences as he also had two movies directed under his belt before he did "A Quiet Place", so truthfully it doesn't hurt to just see how this turns out.

If they wanted it to be fake I wonder how they could do it in a much easier way? Hmmm, maybe just give her a prompt list or have the poster offscreen? No, surely better to cut it up in an unnatural way for no reason (not to just cut out the boring pauses for thinking time) and still try to appear genuine.

she's not a great actress but she still gets the job done for the most part. She's good in wind river with Jeremy Renner.
