Dark Phoenix X-Men: Dark Phoenix News and Speculation Thread - - - - - - Part 15

I just finished watching the video I posted.

Andrew Stehlin on June 10, three days after the movie came out, still thinks his character was Red Lotus. :p
He didn't stay for the end credits lol. Gotta stay for those end credits. You never know who you're playing until you read them.

His name will probably change again in the DVD release lol. His name will be Ariki Lotus.

it was already explained that 3 month is including pre production and everything.
but shooting with those main cast was like 3~4wks ish. that's whay kinberg saying.
and usually studio use that.

Why would an actress, Aphra, who has nothing to do with Pre-Production, quote 3 months? Wouldn’t she, as an actress and not a spokesperson for the studio, be part of the the 3-4weeks? If she was doing stunt work for her character within that “pre-production” you can’t really exclude that as not part of the reshoot day total.

Also there’s a world of difference between Kinberg’s “2 1/2 weeks” and maximum 4 weeks that you’re saying. I mean, really, what is it? Keep your story straight.

Besides, I’ve always heard it was 40 days, which last time I checked is far from “2 1/2 weeks.”

The lovely OT family with The precuels Cast.

I can upload a photo every day for a month but that doesn’t mean I’m still on the vacation I took those photos on. Also I highly doubt he uploaded photos every single day.

You can ask Lauren Shuler.
Watch the video, everyone was happy with Bryan's return.
We don’t want to take away Singer's credit to give it to Kinberg.
Singer had problems in Apocalypse and BR, but not in Dofp. Let's be fair

No one is taking anyone’s credit away to give to anyone else.

Do you really think anyone will bad mouth anyone in front of thousands of paying customers? Come on. They’re in the business of ‘Hollywood’, the land where it’s all about putting on a face for a price and not ruffling any feathers in front of those that could be your next paycheck.

Please do not play into that, only the naive do.

End of the day does it matter how long somebody was on set? I don't care how long someone was there be it 6 months or 2 days, long as the films good.

I trust in Lauren.
Singer had problems in Apocalypse and BR, but not in Dofp.

I do recall towards the end of shooting upto the time of release for DOFP there were more and more allegations and stories being churned out with some boycotts of the movie put forward (which didnt make any impact). Thats when I first heard about Singers alleged questionable behaviour and it become quitely prominent in the pubic sphere. So if he did have set troubles I wouldn't be surprised if this was the cause of it

First I heard of the allegations was in 2003 before x2 was released.

That was said when it was going to premiere dofp. But it does not make sense, Fox and Lauren would not have hired Singer

Of course they would. This is Hollywood. There is too much damning evidence against Singer to sit here and defend him. Again, your priorities are out of wack.

A lot has happened now. Kinberg has officially destroyed this series and revealed himself to everyone as a fraud... and Singer has dug his own grave and will likely never work in Hollywood again.

Heck, even Ratner is done for. The comeuppance never end!

So sad, because he is a good director. In contrast to Kinberg who has no talent.

Now they blaming this bomb on the release date cause Cameron made them move apparently lol
never seen so many excuses for a movie being terrible but none of these publications say what we know is KINBERG WAS THE ISSUE from the word go

Maybe Kinberg will try to convince Marvel to give him another go round of the Dark Phoenix story. Third time's a charm, right? :o

He can call it the Kinberg Dark Phoenix trilogy. All three films are about the exact same story.
