This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]533171[/split]
The Hollywood trades aren't infallible (no news entity is), but they're still the most reliable sources, by and large, of information available in regards to films and entertainment, and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, should be viewed as such until/unless their information has been either retracted or officially disproven... neither of which has happened in this case given that the comment from Chastain re:Lilandra has been deleted.
I just took it on my cellphone and refreshed the post.I would ask how recently you found or took that screenshot, though,

Among those only Berry stands out, but she sucks in general when it comes to cbm roles. The sad thing is: these actors get cast in this franchise, get rave reviews for their performance in other films around the same time, but give mediocre to middling/ok performances in the X-films.
See: Berry
See: Page (X3)
See: Lawrence
See: Isaac
Maybe Chastain will come out unscathed?
A bit off-topic, but it's interesting that both Chastain and Lawrence could end up competing against each other for the Best Actress Oscar next year. They're both in the running for a nomination for sure.
One thing you gotta give to the X-Franchise is the pedigree of the cast.
Don't forget your girl Paquin! LOL I'm joking but a lot people don't like her in the X-flicks.
Isaac is great; definitely blended into the character.
Really glad his resume shows off how flexible is.
My issue came back to the lines and not the delivery. There was no "off" button to how pretentious he could be, particularly when scenes would benefit from more naturalistic dialogue. Only excuse/explanation is that he's a living time capsule or that's just how he is in the cartoons. As someone who enjoyed Apocalypse in theatres I can say Isaac's Apocalypse is one of the worst parts of the movie. I cringed every time he showed up on screen.
