Seriously, how many movies are NOT restricted in some way due to their budget? I just think X2, like you may be inferring, is actually one of those exceptions where the movie didn't have quite so many restrictions as I recall, especially in relation to X1.X2 was great but unlike some sequels to big movies Bryan Singer was still restricted when It came to budget.Which cause limitions on how many characters could be used.And what set Pieces could be used.The fact X2 came out so well Is a testerment to
Singer and his team despite Fox and It's cheap ways.
This misconception about a cheap movie or studio isn't necessary a bad thing. We've seen many movies with huge budgets fail miserably. Also, the restriction angle can also be a positive. Sometimes less is more (i.e., Transformers 2, X3).
