X-Men: First Class is being filmed in the UK. Naturally, all good superhero films are, at least partly, shot here. Where else in the English speaking world can you find so many aging thespians who can chew their way through such exposition with such conviction, and so many special effects and stuntpeople willing to throw themselves into the firing line, quite literally in some cases? But the perils of such shooting is to find locations that don’t instantly look like something out of Trainspotting and not Miami Vice. So keeping them inside is a good thing.
Right now the company Sarah Eastel Locations is searching for all sorts of properties. Including one described as;
Large cellars with high ceilings ideally within south east.I understand that’s X-Men: First Class. And they need a new X-Mansion. I also note they’re looking for
For very high profile feature film shooting within bext two months
Large brutallist building to double as CIA headquarters, for feature film shooting November for 1 month. Anywhere in the UKEarly Stan and Jack X-Men had Professor X aligned with the US secret services. I wonder if the same could be happening here?

Another quote from Vaughn when asked how he and Goldman finished their Kick-Ass script in 4 weeks:
"A good script should never take a long time to write."
According to Bleeding Cool’s sources, this sequence plays out shot-for-shot in the upcoming X-Men: First Class… at least, up to a point. They casting is different too, of course – this time around, the tremendous Bill Milner is playing Lensherr – and when the sequence does deviate, it’s with some very dramatic twists… which we’ll be keeping under our hats for now, I’m afraid.
Director Matthew Vaughn had video reference of the original sequence on tap for the cast and crew during their prep for shooting this sequence, and for the shots that are mirrored, the attention to detail is apparently quite exhaustive.
