Local actor Greg Savage sent the following email to me, and the entire 48 Hour Film Project Atlanta distribution list with an update from the set of X Men: First Class, currently shooting on Jekyll Island.
"Today I had lunch, got fitted for my outfit, and then I found out that the role I’m playing is entirely different than what I auditioned for — it’s even BIGGER. [blackout] I am the Ship Captain of a 1960’s submarine (during the Cuban missile crisis).[/blackout] I shoot my scene at night on Wednesday evening. It is cold and windy — sand is kicking up all over the place. [blackout] And, my ship will be taking on lots of water during my scene. I will be shouting to my crew to keep the ship from sinking.[/blackout]
Currently, in my hotel room unpacking, ironing clothes, and desperately needing a hot shower!!
Will update tomorrow!!"

Spoilery
I hoooope that the Hellfire has more than just two members. it would be a big wasted oportunity.
In contrast to "Winter's Bone" — a gritty independent drama — your current project is a major studio action flick. How has filming for "X-Men: First Class" treated you? And what's next?
"X-Men" is going great. We're now in Georgia doing all the battle sequences, so that's fun. To be honest, when I wrap I'm mostly focused on sleeping or eating. So I haven't been too focused on what's next — I'm mostly just focused on sleeping and eating."
so we can say that the final battle will be on an island........... again.
anyway, I hope its more exciting than X3 one.
I'm itching for a teaser for this...
After stalking his facebook some more, I found these two..More spoilery photos from Georgia.

Also, filming in GA wrapped today. They'll resume on the 27th.
