I'm loving the pics, Magento really looks like Magneto!!! I think the heart of the film will come from Mystique & Beast, being that that they both have to come to terms w/who they are. At 1 point Mystique can shapeshift into whoever, but Beast can't, he's stuck that way(once he transforms). I'm thinking those two will have a bond, close friendship, early romantic interest, nothing to exclusive for fan boys/girls to whine about...
The team looks good: Prof. X, Magneto, Mystique, Beast, Banshee
I like how they gave Moira her green uniform she wears in the comics. Darwin nor Angel is part of the team, so I'm interested in where they come from? Could Darwin be w/Moira and does Angel intermix w/the Cuban missile crisis?

I like the set pictures a lot more than the banner. The teaser poster is also pretty cool. I still have a lot of hope for this movie.

It does, in the same way I always thought McKellen's helmet was way to small and snug on his face. But I think it'll look better on film.

The helmet took awhile to adjust to considering it's combined with the blue and yellow costume, but it looks great.

The best visual to yet come out is of January Jones. The costumes look good but I'm going to have to see some attitude via a trailer to help sell it. Attitude goes along way when your dressed in something like that.

It was a leaked image though. They didn't intend for it to look like that.

And I always thought McKellen's helmet looked way too tight on his head and made his head look small so I don't mind this new helmet being a bit too big.

But that is what they look like. Do you except some sort of magic that is going to fix the awfulness of the design of both the characters and their kit?

Personally I never liked McKellan's Magneto helmet and I always wished it looked more like the comic, which is what they did here. The helmet itself looks great though it does seem kind of loose which results in the crooked looking helmet pic here.

Yes, of course the character images are real (or were in their original form).

But something must have been amiss with the final line-up image, because it was pulled from MSN and MTV and some other sites.

Vaughn says he didn't approve it, and he probably didn't. But why did it get withdrawn from those sites if there wasn't something up with it? Was it an unfinished shot? A picture that hadn't had final approval from the publicity chiefs?

The problem i have with that Magneto picture , its that the helmet looks really out of place while he is wearing it with the X-men costume, but a very cool looking helmet .

I haven't seen much praise for the outfits outside of this forum. Many jokes about seatbelts and 70s adult film.

I have the higher quality version of the cast pic set as my wallpaper of my macbook pro (15") and having it centred with a black background surrounding it, it looks pretty cool!

But I wish they used Sebastian Shaw, Darwin or Banshee instead of Azazel ..
