Non-sense! Magneto can fly :P It would be cool if Mystique shifted into a raven and flew to safety but she has the suit on as well .. but in all seriousness I think you're right. Moira would be on this mission as well since she has the parachute straps on in the cast photo.

I still think that helmet looks awesome. I never really liked the McKellan helmet and this one looks pretty damn faithful to the comics.

I do agree that the helmet along with the costume looks a bit odd, though. Need to see how that all goes down.

I looked at him and the X-Men 90's theme song started playing.

At first I was but then I 'cause the helmet doesn't really compliment the uniform and vice versa.

And then I remembered we'll be seeing Magneto in his red and purple uniform by the end of the movie and I was again.

Somebody needs to manip that head onto McKellen's uniform with the red and purple colour scheme.

P.S: Minor nitpick but couldn't they have added internal pads in the helmet to keep it on straight...

I believe that it is on straight, it's just the fact that he's turning his head to the side and the helmet is pressing against his shoulder that is causing it to look a little off-kilter.

Really? Because the looks don't remind me much of Mad Men which is the quintessential 60s.

Also I think it is fair to say that every era has it terrible looks. Just because a look is period correct, doesn't mean it looks all that good. Just look at the 80s.
