i cant help but think fox feel they need to promote this film like crazy because they are worried a non-wolverine x-men movie wont get peoples attention

maybe im wrong but lets face it all the past x-men movies were wolverine based

Eh, not much more footage we haven't already seen in other trailers/spots/clips in that 35MM show. Maybe a combined total of 10 seconds of new stuff(but not a solid 10 seconds...more like cut up into a second here or there). Still, thanks for clueing us into it's existence. Mostly it's interviews(which I tend to be disinterested in, personally).

Fox knows the internet casuals (a separate entity from real life casuals) are justifiably indecisive of this movie. So they have to market this film as much as they can, so they can proudly say, "Look, this time it ain't s***".

Practice some self control. Nobody is forcing you to watch these clips.

By that logic they could go ahead and release the whole movie in 36 clips if they want.

How about another "leaked" film a la origins to get some buzz going...Everyone just practice some self control.

At this point the clips do nothing but spoil scenes, I mean really is another 2 clips of Xavier and Eric giving away plot really going to change my mind anymore than the 13 clips out already?
(I've only seen 3)

Fox always does this, and what's interesting is that I don't really see any other studios using this tactic.

Cerebro only sees mutants. the ones in b&w have latent powers that haven't became active yet and the color ones have.

Have you seen the film? That's a serious question, because in the other films, Charles could connect with any mind. And in the first film, when he searched for Rogue, he siphoned through many black-and-white-filtered children and adults till he found Rogue. Clearly not everyone in that train station were mutants. Now, unless it's different in this film...

I wouldn't assume a fairly-matured, dancing girl in a sparkly shirt would be Dazzler. As I said, she looked mature enough that her powers wouldn't be "latent". And she's a singer, not a dancer. I bet she's a human dancer Charles was passing by as he telepathically made his way to Angel.

Well his Cerebro in X1 could be an upgraded version where as this one is the first one and probably isn't fully developed yet.

You'd still need to use spoiler tags here until the movie opened.

It's just a common courtesy. Shouldn't be that difficult for anyone.
