Days of Future Past X-Men Origins: First Class--Post Your Casting Choices Here

Some these casting choices make no sense. First class isn't supposed to be Harry Potter 1 now is it. The cast is supposed to be 16-19/20 like the original five when they started out. To de-age Magneto and Charles by 30 years or so is just daft. And to suggest 14 year olds for Jean Grey seems daft too. We don't want to run the risk of the classic teenfest action movie.

Where did you hear this?

It wouldn't make sense for Paquin to return unless they're intertwining flashbacks in it..

Chances are they will get the same actor's who played young Jean, Scott and Emma .. only Storm and Beast need to be recast at the moment..

Nah, they won't tie their hands and go that route. Who even remembers who those actors are? Especially Cyclops and Emma...and both weren't terribly effective in those roles regardless. Plus, I don't see ANY movie studio being that meticulous in their casting, much less Fox.

I think Keke Palmer is the first Storm casting suggestion that I completely agree with. I think she's the perfect age and would look good in the role. She also seems to be a pretty good actress. I can't wait for an official casting announcement. All the speculating is fun, but I'm way too damn curious. Hopefully we'll get it soon.

Do we even know which characters they're going to be casting? I think they should take a leaf out of X-Men Evolution's book. Not in terms of making Storm older and an instructor, because that would just confuse people who want to be able to tie all the X-movies together. But leave her out of it altogether (as I don;t feel she's ever really worked when portrayed as a teenager)and go with the original 5, or the original 5 plus one or two others from that cartoon, or the original 5 plus a couple other 2nd/3rd generations who have yet to appear in the movies (Banshee and Psylocke or someone)

all this talk about the orginial 5 is pointless!!!!!!!!!!! We already have confirmation that we will not see the original 5!!!!!!!!!! only the original 3 which is; Scott, Jean, Beast, hopefully Storm, since Xavier said she was an early student in X1, and whom ever they use for a 5th character/team member:Emma, Banshee, or Mystique(post giving birth to Nightcrawler)

I'm thinking Magneto will be part of the team and help take down, who ever the villian is and whatever the outcome is will prompt the falling out w/Xavier and him leaving...

I like this idea because I think Magneto will be the "Wolverine" of the team, which would be good because his anger/maleviolent ways will eventually put him @ odds w/Xavier, the team and how Cjarles is trying to teach the team not to use their powers in violent/extreme ways and when he leaves he should try and take/persuade some of them w/him & if Mystique is on the team I can c her leaving w/him(which would explain why they knew of her in X1)
and if their is a sequel we could get Scott stepping up as leader and possibly Gambit as the new "bad boy"

I believe they are going back even way before the Xavier school formed. The movie is supposed to be about how Magneto escaped from concentration camp and moved to USA and meet Charles. How Charles discovers his power, befriends Eric, formed the school until they had a fall out. We could see Jean, Cyclops, Emma, Beast at X academy. While Eric recruits Mystique, Toad and other baddies.

umm rewatch the scene in X3 when Storm & Beast greet/hug each other it's effident that she "grew" up and/or has a relationship w/Beast and in X1, it's referenced to that fact that she is....*you guys are really pushing for the original 5, lol*
