Always felt that Wanda's powers were too difficult to pull off correctly on the big screen. Sure, Marvel is doing it, but from what I've seen so far her powers will not be per canon (but we'll see)...
Polaris would be great in the next movie, or the one after that, depending on how much time there is between movies. My honest hope is that we stop all of this 10 year jumps from movie to movie and make it do one movie jumps right into the next.
For example, imagine if during the Apocalypse movie we see that Erik has made the decision to create his Avalon (or Asteroid M), a space station where mutants (his Alcolytes) can live free. He uses his powers to create this "world" and rips it from the earth and propels it into orbit.
So this Apocalypse movie would then lead into X-Men Sanctuary (or whatever it is named) where the X-Men must go confront Magneto before the world governments act against him, causing a war with mutantkind. This would first allow Magneto to be a true adversary of the X-Men (although it would truly be Cortez who is the villain) while getting the development he's always been denied, and puts the X-Men in space, which would cause many fanboys to geek out...
During that story possibly Jean Grey could be affected by (or develop) the Phoenix Force due to certain conditions she's put under. This would lead to the Shi'ar "arresting" the X-Men at the end of the movie (or start of the next one), which would then lead into the next movie, in which the X-Men are brought to Chandilar and must battle the Imperial Guard for Jean's life. This story could also include the Starjammers, which could lead to a spin-off movie. Of course this movie would have Lilandra, the love interest for Chuck, Deathbird, D'Ken, and Imperial Guard member Gladiator.
This would then lead to the next movie, back Earth, and so on...
The point is that Polaris would be a great character to bring in as a romatic interest for Havok (the younger brother and nephew (or son) of the original First Class Havok). I wouldn't want her story to be focused on whwther she is, or isn't Magneto;s daughter...
