The Dark Knight 12 Film Clips for The Dark Knight on iesb.net

I might get banned for this but could someone PM a link to the videos since they have been taken off IESB. thanks

I've been watching the clips all day on youtube...and they're spectacular. Though I don't think they're exact cuts from the film...because it looks like in some of the clips (especially the conference and batpod scene) that parts were cut out...probably because of plot points. Regardless, they blew me away. The joker scene was priceless, and not to mention that as it stands, the acting and the dialogue really do have a godfather/untouchables kind of quality to them. How cool is that for a Batman film?!

I'm so stoked that I've decided "Pooches" will be my word of choice for the next couple of days.

BTW can someone tell me why the lights of the batpod are moving so strange in the last clip?

Regards,
Maestro

now those were some cool azz clips :wow:

only thing i didnt like was gordon going from yelling in british to sounding american when using his indoor voice

I'm sure its been mentioned already, but to me the most frightening Joker moment I've seen yet is, after the Czechan says "They won't work for a freak", The Joker gets right in his face and, mocking his voice, says "A freeeeeeeeak!"

The way he said it, just seemed utterly legit psycho. I can't even describe the response I had to it, like... I was almost relieved when he got back to saying the cool lines like "Why don't we cut you up into little pieces and feed you to your pooches, hm?" Like, as awesome as that line is, its scripted villainy. That bit where's imitating the Czechan was almost uncomfortable to watch, it felt so convincing.

I really want to know how much of this is on the page, and how much was adlibbed. It feels like something Nolan let him completely run with and alter, must be difficult to put down in words. It's all over the place yet so cohesive. Has Nolan ever said if Ledger did an actual screentest given he grabbed the part so early into pre-production?

On the rooftop scene with Dent and Gordon....is it just me or is there something akward about Batman. He looks strangely different than he did in "Begins." He actually looks scary to me in a weird way. Like an animal. It strikes me as a creepy scene but not bad by any means. In fact, I think I may love it.

How are the batpods wheels spinning, its like a screw, but if its spinning the way i think it is then how can it be spinning like that and keep moving ?

what surprises me there is how passive he is in front of those two guys arguing !!!!!:woot::woot::woot::woot:

he could easily scream: "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY I'M RIGHT HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
